Lake home minutes from Cedar Point!

NEW RENOVATION FOR 2024:
The lower screened porch was renovated this winter before the upcoming 2024 season. We removed all the screens and enclosed the area with windows all around. This area is climate controlled with heating/air conditioning. We have a tv mounted in the area as well as a grill, side burner and flat top cooking station!

This 3,100 square foot home is on Cedar Point Road just down the road from Cedar Point amusement park and Cedar Shores water park!

Located on a 2 acre private lot, the house sits towards the back of the property, where you will have the bay just steps from the back of house and a beautiful sunset to enjoy in the evening. In the front, relax on your own private deck to enjoy your coffee during the beautiful sunrise or drinks in the evening while taking in the wonderful Lake Erie views.

The exterior of the home has two screened in porches for all your entertainment needs. The lower porch is equipped with a natural gas Weber Grill and outdoor patio set with seating for 6. The upper deck also has a patio table with seating for 6, along with other seating to comfortably seat a total of 10 and take in the beautiful evening sunset over the bay side!

Inside the home, you will find an open concept floor plan with brand new furniture throughout the entire main floor. The large gourmet kitchen has a commercial grade gas stove/oven with a large hibachi grill. You will also find a large side by side refrigerator, microwave, and a brand new dishwasher. The kitchen is also equipped with a Keurig coffee maker with starter pods, toaster and crockpot. Also supplied are pots, pans, baking sheets, pizza pans, cutting boards, dinnerware, glasses, wine glasses, coffee mugs, flatware/knives, and every kitchen utensil you would need!

Also on the main floor is the family room with a beautiful sectional to seat many people and a dining room table with seating for 8, seating for 2 at the granite kitchen island, and a table with 4 chairs located in the alcove area off of the kitchen to seat a total of 14 comfortably. You will find a half bath located just off the alcove.

The first of two Master suites is located on the main level that includes a master bathroom with a walk-in shower and brand new garden tub. The master suite has a king bed and a set of twin bunk beds and the large master closet has a hanging rod and shelving to organize and unload all your belongings.

In the lower level of the home, you will find a second master suite with a king bed and private bathroom with a brand new stand up shower. This room was originally an open gaming area that we built into a second master suite- it did not have a closet so we recently built one in and added a closet so you have a place to put your bags and hang up your clothes on the hanging rod. This master suite has a sliding door that takes you out to the lower level screened in porch where you can step outside and enjoy your morning coffee. Also, on the lower level you will find two other bedrooms; one with a queen bed and the other with an L-shaped twin bunk bed (a total of 4 twin bunks) that sleeps 4. The lower level living area has a loveseat and pull out couch with full bed to sleep an additional 2 people. There is a second full bathroom with shower/tub combo located in the lower level.

High speed wireless internet throughout the home with UNLIMITED data. TV's located in every room of the house including every bedroom and even in the upstairs master bathroom. Cable channel guide with many channels along with a Roku streaming stick on every tv to stream your favorite Netflix and Hulu shows.

Property is located just down the road from Cedar Point amusement park and Cedar Shores Waterpark, 5 minutes from Sports Force, 10 minutes to Kalahari and other indoor water parks, minutes to golf courses, marinas and downtown Sandusky.

Close to a lot of things!

My family and I stayed in this property as my son had a baseball tournament which the field is about 5 minutes away, very convenient! You are also about 5 minutes from Cedar Point Amusement Park! Would recommend this property for families!

If I could give this house 6 stars I would! We had 5 adults and four teens. The house was perfect for our family. It was super clean, comfortable, very well stocked and in the perfect location. The grill set up in the screened in porch was top notch! It had everything we needed and more. Owner was easy to communicate with and super friendly. If I could change one thing about our trip, it would have been to add more days! Thanks for a great experience!

Large property with lots of space outside and in. Clean and well kept. Great location with easy access to Cedar Point and easy drives to Sandusky/Port Clinton and Cleveland. Only issue was there was/is a roof leak which is right over stairs so rains made stairs wet which could very easily be a safety issue

Relaxing and Peaceful

We loved staying at Cedar Willow. The house is clean and beautiful, and the views of the lake are magical. We were originally staying at a hotel with four teens, but my husband and I wanted a quiet getaway. The teens chose to stay at the hotel in order to get early access to Cedar Point. We booked last minute, and the owner was patient, helpful, and extremely nice. If we come back with the kids, we will definitely choose Cedar willow.

Loved the openness of the upstairs for family to gather for eating and games.

Easy access to shopping , beaches and of course Cedar Point. Lots of refrigerator and freezer space, pots and pans, dishes. We were at max with 14. Used upstairs porch quite a bit. We were disappointed at not b ing able to use jet skis because of seaweed and not having a beach for swimming access.. Overall great time and great experience We would definitely go back! Great Location and Views, But Disappointed by Serious Issues and Host’s Follow-Through

Nice lake front home in Sandusky perfectly located between Cedar Point and Sports Force Park for our youth baseball event. It offered great views and plenty of space for our group of 10.Unfortunately, our stay was disrupted by a gas leak in the main kitchen stove, forcing us to evacuate at 10PM for over two hours on day 1. While the host took responsibility and repairs began quickly, the issue took four days to resolve, and utility workers were in the home for a total of 8 hours during our trip.The home also needed a deep cleaning — cabinets, couch cushions, and outdoor furniture were dirty or covered in cobwebs, making it hard to enjoy the beautiful outdoor setting. While we initially appreciated the host's responsiveness, ultimately, we were left disappointed. The host made oral and written promises to “make it right” and offer a refund, especially since we followed all house rules and left the home in good condition. However, after our stay, she said any refund would depend on us leaving a 5-star review and omitting mention of the gas leak. We found this unprofessional and lacking in integrity.We generally don't leave reviews but felt compelled due to the safety issue and how it was subsequently handled. It's been over two weeks since our return and we’ve received no compensation for the inconveniences we experienced. In short, the home has potential, but cleanliness issues, a serious safety concern, and unprofessional follow-through made our stay disappointing.

Amazing !

This lake house is perfect for a family getaway. It’s spacious, beds are comfortable, kitchen is amazing, and fully stocked with all the tools you need to prepare any meal. You also get the best of both worlds between the Sandusky bay in the back, and Lake Erie in the front. Not to mention a very spacious yard. Last but not least for the owner Lindsay is very easy to deal with, amd very responsive to your needs should you have any. In our case there were a few VERY MINOR issues that Lindsay was already on top of that absolutely did not affect our stay but did demonstrate that she is an awesome owner, and great to rent from . WE WILL BE BACK!

Beautiful property on the water conveniently located to Cedar Point, Put-in-Bay, & Kelleys Island

Our annual family vacation plans were altered last minute & by luck we found Cedar Willow. The home is well laid out with an expansive kitchen & great room on the second floors with panoramic views of the lake to view the sunset. The house is beautifully decorated & clean. The bedrooms were spacious. There was even a bunkbed room that our kids loved. We were able to tie off our four waverunners on the seawall for easy access to water fun. The lake is calm with not a lot of boat access. This property is just down the road from Cedar Point. Overall we give Cedar Willow Five Stars. A special thank you to Lindsay the property manager who was extremely helpful and great to work with. We will be coming back!
