We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful corner of Newfoundland! The space was well-equipped and featured beautiful views of the water. The hosts were responsive to questions and helped make our stay a memorable one. Don’t think twice - this is the place you want to be for your stay in the area.
Very well-equipped cottage with a stunning view. Perfect for families looking for a quiet getaway with outdoor adventures. The hosts were lovely and quick to respond to inquiries.
The location was excellent and we loved being on the ocean. We were fortunate to see many whales from the back deck. The home had everything you needed for an extended stay. Just bring clothes, food and refreshments!

Thanks Deidre,
We are very glad you had the opportunity to once again enjoy the fabulous landscape and area around our little cove when you did. Given the current devastation occurring from wild fires the landscape and communities are forever changed. Please treasure any pics or videos that you took of the area.
Take care,
Dave
Very comfortable bright house. A quiet area with a great view., including from the bathtub big enough for two. A nice community to walk through. Would stay again.
It was a perfect getaway with a magical view. The cozy house had all the accessories you could use in the kitchen or elsewhere. If you’re looking for peace, quiet and serenity, this is your destination. We’d come back in a heartbeat.
It is a fantastic place, incredible view and a lovely cottage decorated with amazing paintings.
We were impressed with the place and the closeness from cities and coves. BEAUTIFUL!
A beautiful place in the most beautiful setting! Everything here is in abundance - an exceptionally well-stocked kitchen, very comfortable bedrooms and living room, all surrounded by the most magnificent views. Clean, quiet and quaint! Sue and Don are excellent hosts, offering delightful suggestions for sightseeing and dining. It was definitely an outstanding stay for us.
This property was exactly as advertised and so much more. We saw whales while sitting on the deck our first night. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were good quality and super comfy. There was interesting reading material about the area which keptcus reading for hours while enjoying the stunning ocean view. Lots to see and do in the area as well. What a special place!
Our family of 5 (youngest child 19 years) spent 5 days of Christmas here. We put up a tree, hung stockings, snuggled in jammies, played cards, did a puzzle, built Lego, watched movies, read books, walked the trail to the root cellar (3 times), cooked a turkey feast, and just relaxed. We may never spend Christmas home again.
Instantly felt comfortable stepping into this little gem. Bright, clean and cozy overlooking the seascape...how can it get any better? Very easy to travel the peninsula from this location. Bay Roberts hiking, Salmon Cove and Dildo were the highlights. The drive alone from the bungalow to Bay de Verde, Old Perlican , Winterton and back was beautiful. Then you can walk out the front door to Perry Cove's own stunning views and hike....The Blow Hole being our favourite. Sue and Dave responded quickly to any questions we had but everything was laid out very clearly. Thank you for your kindness and adding to our Newfoundland memories :)
We stayed here for 5 nights for a family vacation before both our young adult children headed back to University. The location is wonderful and Sue and Dave are gracious hosts! The cottage was clean and cozy. It felt like home. It is close enough to so many neat little spots to explore and also in good proximity to St. John’s. We were able to travel to so many little communities along the coast but we always came back to a glass of wine on the deck with a spectacular view of the ocean. We will be back!
We loved staying in this house, it was lovely and comfortable and the view from the deck is amazing. The hosts left suggestions for walks and things to do, which we enjoyed.
Beautiful property in amazing location. Everything you could need while staying at the property was available. Looking forward to coming back next year!
