The space After a day of exploring the mountains or desert around Escalante, wash the trail dust off in a warm shower and let your muscles recover during a peaceful nights rest on the queen size bed. When hunger strikes, the well-equipped kitchen boasts a to-scale fridge, range, microwave, sink, and plenty of dishware, so it won't be a struggle whipping up some of your favorite recipes in this small space. In the morning, make yourself a pot of coffee and head outside to watch the sunrise paint the walls of the Escalante River canyon or surrounding mountains.

This adorable little house was perfect for our visit to Escalante. It’s very cozy, it had everything we needed and the hosts are fabulous!! I would highly recommend this property, we are already planning a future stay!
We just LOVED the little house! When we first walked in we thought, oh my, this is awfully small. But it became immediately clear that it was so efficiently organized (and adorable) that we were very comfortable. Melani was very responsive and it was a real treat staying there. Highly recommended!
Absolutely perfect for this individual spending the month of May in Escalante. Explored the town and surrounding area including Bryce Canyon, Kodachrome Basin State Park, Petrified Forest, Hole in the Rock Heritage Site and Road, Escalante River Trail by Lower Calf Creek, and scenic Hwy 12. Was looking for a quiet retreat to read and write, bird watch and enjoy photography. The Little House was everything I hoped and more. Perfect hosts, excellent communication, immaculate in all respects, super comfortable bed. Would return in a heart beat. So appreciate Melani and Alan sharing this historic home!

Thank you, Betsy! It was such a pleasure to host you. You are delightful. We miss you.
It was the perfect little place. The sign out front made it easy to find. I was impressed with the place as soon as I walked in the door. Great set up. I love the decor, the welcome sign, the quilt, flowers on the table. It made the place very inviting. The place had everything we needed for cooking. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was nice to just be “home” after a day of hiking, to be able to eat in after showering, and watch Netflix in our lounge clothes. Melani made sure we had everything we needed.

This was an adorable, unique, historical property. Well stocked, and made our time in Escalante enjoyable.
The property was wonderful! We had everything we needed. We used The Tiny House as our base camp to visit Capitol Reef NP and many of the SPs and byways and overlooks. The owner is very friendly and stays on top of any concerns you might have.
The little house was adorable! Perfect location while doing national park tour. Clean, cute, well appointed. Quiet neighborhood. Very easy and responsive communication. Highly recommend!
The little house is a darling place to stay while adventuring in Escalante. It was clean, perfectly located to main street, and had the cutest interior decor. We will be back for sure!
