About this property

Primitive Cabin in the woods. A place to unplug, unwind, and relax!

The Little Buffalo River Hideout is a primitive wood cabin on 30 acres located in the forest of Newton County Arkansas. It is 700 square feet wood cabin including the back deck area that overlooks the stream. It was built with local trees from Newton County in 2019. There is a dirt road all the way to the cabin from Hwy 327. A 4x4 drive vehicle is required to get to the cabin. It is offgrid . The cabin has 1 loft bedroom upstairs with 2 twin beds. Also there is a futon downstairs in the living room area. There is a small kitchenette area with small sink & small gas stove for cooking inside. The back deck area is our favorite place to spend time listening to the stream and the sounds of the forest. There are hiking trails throughout our 30 acres. There are deer, bear, squirrels, coyotes, and wolf. Also, many bird species to watch. Our cabin is a great way to unplug from the stress. You can ease back and relax. There is a fire pit, grill, and wood picnic table in the outdoor area. There are games available inside, but no tv. No a/c but it is under heavy shade from the forest. There is a cedar outhouse outside the cabin located on a path by cabin. Also, there is a heated outdoor shower to bath. Which is favorite by guests!
