Sorry, NO PETS. Welcome to our lake home in Gerald MO. Our semi private little haven, is plopped down in the middle of the countryside. Our home is on a1 acre lot. We share the lake with 3 other homes. Wonderful back to nature vacation. Bring your fishing poles, kayaks or canoes & enjoy the outdoors. The town of Gerald is a Rock Island Town. You are approx. 4 miles from Gerald where you will find a Dollar General if you need ice or just about anything else, a gas station & a couple of restaurants. We are 6-7 miles from the town of Rosebud which has several antique shops, boutiques & restaurants. We are listed on ABNB too.

Gorgeous Gerald

Our experience was wonderful. Peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed taking walks and sitting by the fire pit. The home was nicely decorated and well stocked. Perfect girlfriend weekend. The host responded quickly and in a friendly manner to all of our questions. Can’t wait to go back.

Awesome Lake House

This was our 3rd time at the lake house. So obviously, we love this lake home. Whether we were on lounge chairs on the new deck, sitting around a roaring fire or inside playing games or watching a movie, it’s peaceful and relaxing. We enjoy the local wineries, shops and restaurants. One thing for sure, we’ll be coming back.

Family Lake Vacation

What a great place to hang out with your family on lazy summer days! Everything was clean, plenty of space inside for everyone to hang out. Outside!! The lake was perfect for swimming and fishing, the fire pit area was perfect for s’mores and hanging out. The hosts left plenty of things to play with, games and outside gear. And it was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the views, fishing, swimming and having a fish fry! Location is great with lots of privacy and amenities! Hosts left s’mores and extra goodies for our stay! We will be back again!

Great for Meramec Float Trip

We wanted a location close to Meramec Park for a float trip. House is an easy 30 minutes to the River. River was perfect. And the. When we got back we could sit outside and enjoy the lake view. Our friend even got engaged at the house! Very well stocked and perfect for a couples getaway with friends.

Our stay was beautiful and Marti's personal touches of decorations, attention to details and an assortment of amenities, made our stay feel like a home away from home. The beds were very comfortable and the views were amazing. Perfect place to visit! Thank you for opening your home to my family!

My husband and I are high school sweethearts, growing up in Kirkwood. I inherited my childhood small home in Kirkwood and this was the start of our first short term rental property. We love being able to provide housing to many people-usually in town to visit family, a sporting event or for themselves or a family member attending one of St. Louis' many hospitals.

Why they chose this property

We had been looking for a weekend getaway/retirement home for about 2 years. When we came upon this one we immediately fell in love. We enjoy kayaking, fishing on the lake, sunsets and just relaxing in the fresh air. This home is set in the middle of the countryside. We decided to make it another short term rental since we both work and are not able to enjoy it now with our work schedules.

Peace & quiet! Semi private 14 acre lake. Only 4 houses total share this lake. Bring your kayaks, canoes and fishing poles or just sit and relax and enjoy.
