Cozy Cabin in the Woods

Rediscover the beauty of nature from this charming cabin, off the beaten path and just minutes from the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. Nestled in the woods, it’s ideal for those looking to explore the great outdoors and spot local wildlife. Secluded, peaceful spot that’s still close enough to local attractions, great restaurants, hiking, biking, fishing and shopping. Sit out on the cozy front porch to sip your coffee or local wines and enjoy the fresh air!
This new construction cabin sits on a 2 acre wooded site. It has a spacious bedroom with a queen size bed, full bath and open living space design. The roomy living area has a queen sized sleeper sofa. The kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, keurig and a fabulous built-in bench style table. The open loft has a twin sized day bed and adorable padded window bench. Linens are provided but no linen service during your stay. Wifi, Dish network and a dvd/blu-ray are available.

Great little quiet cabin, was exactly what we needed for a couples getaway to the area. Had everything we needed and the place was well maintained. Was a nice driving diatance to all the great things to see in the area. Would definitely stay there again.

This cabin is well maintained, clean, cozy and very relaxing. A perfect place to stay in the Grand Canyon area of PA. The outdoor fire ring and seating area was a pleasure. The interior was nicely decorated and spacious. This cabin did not disappoint and made our getaway even more enjoyable. Great communication by the host.

Much needed get away

We had an amazing stay. Cabin was very clean and cozy. We had turkeys, a bear, and a few deer visit while we were there. Cabin owner responded quickly to any questions that I had. Highly recommend this getaway.

Can't say enough about how nice the cabin was. The decor, books about local history, games, information on things to do and the reading nook all added to the attention to details. The cabin was immaculate and you can tell owners take pride in their property.

This was our third stay at Cozy Cabin and we will be back for more!!! So very quiet and peaceful. The cabin is so very well kept! We saw deer and turkey from the front porch! Plus, there was a daily hummingbird visitor!!

My husband and I went to this area for biking and hiking PA Grand Canyon for my 60th birthday, but it ended up raining and cold for our stay. Instead we explored the area and still had a great time! Place was super clean, which is much appreciated. Thanks for a great vaca!

One of the nicest places I've stayed

This is a lovely cabin in first rate condition. Spacious, comfortable, uncluttered, and tastefully furnished. Set on a wooded property, private and quiet. Just a few miles from Leonard Harrison state park with its overlook of the Pine Creek Gorge. Also nearby is access to the Pine Creek rail trail and Colton State Park with overlooks and hiking trails. The surrounding country side is lovely so you can enjoy walking on the roads.

Wonderful escape in the mountains

We had an excellent stay at this cabin! The cabin was clean, comfortable, cozy, peaceful, and quiet, plus the decorating and feel of the cabin was very nice and welcoming. The location feels isolated, which is good, but is actually very close and convenient to local attractions and hiking. Traci, the property owner, was helpful, friendly, and easy to work with. It was wonderful to unplug and relax for the weekend to truly enjoy the area and each other's company. We definitely plan to return! Tip: Be sure to check out the books and literature at the cabin (both on the main floor and in the loft) about local hikes, they are a great resource!

Clean and comfortable

This one bedroom is surprisingly spacious and scrupulously clean. The bedroom downstairs generously fits a queen-sized bed, large double dresser and chest. The upstairs loft area has seating that is actually a comfortable twin-sized bed and the windowseat is >5' long and could easily sleep a child. The kitchen is well appointed but bring your own seasonings, condiments and food wrap. We had a wonderful time and you can't beat the location on a quiet gravel road near an entrance to the Pine Creek Trail. Ignore the "non-GPS route" sign as you turn into the road. Thanks to Traci for making this a memorable anniversary celebration.

This cabin was perfect. The area was just what we hoped for. The Grand Canyon of PA was absolutely gorgeous. It helps that we visited in October (fall foliage season). The WiFi was in and out the first two days, but worked well on our last day. However, that was not a deal breaker for us because we were there for the cabin itself and the beautiful nature. Besides, there were plenty of games and DVDs available to entertain us when we were in the cabin. The host was available, friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I both loved our stay. Everything was perfect. A well built and well maintained rental. Nothing cheap about anything inside or out. Everything was spotless inside and out.
