Sitting quietly beneath a cluster of happy Redwoods planted in the 1940's and 50's, windows on all sides and a high ceiling make your stay light and airy. A queen-size bed affords a garden and fountain view! This cottage stay is one of kind.

Located centrally, UCD is just one block away, and Davis is biker-friendly! Walk or bike to downtown in minutes.

Excellent base for exploring Davis

Stayed for 3 nights at this cozy (and air-conditioned) cottage - very well equipped and perfect for a home base. Very quiet, central location, and surrounded by tall trees and gardens.

Clean and Cozy

The property is in an ideal location in central Davis about a block from the University. It is located in a quite neighborhood. The property is clean and cozy. The proprietor is very nice and makes himself available if needed.

A hidden gem

A lovely cottage tucked away from the street amidst a beautiful garden retreat. The location was great with no problem parking out front. It’s tinier than I expected but everything is there and it was tastefully done. Don was great and very responsive. If available, I’ll definitely try to stay there again next time I visit my son.

What a GREAT little place!!!

This will be my go - to place when in Davis. I loved it! It was clean, cozy and quiet, with greenery outside every window. Don met me at the curb, helped me carry my things and gave me a brief tour of essentials in the unit. It is so tastefully decorated - it does not feel like a rental, but an extension of the owners’ home. On that note, I did not see the owner after my arrival. It is also on a beautiful tree lined street in walking distance to the campus and shopping.

Cozy cottage in excellent location!

I had the pleasure of renting this cottage for an entire month while visiting my brother in a long-term care facility. While I had my car, I was able to bike to downtown Davis, Trader Joe's and other shops and most importantly to my brother's place and his family's home. I was also able to work from there daily in the mornings and it was pleasantly quiet. Cottage was clean and well appointed. Owner is very nice and pays attention to detail, keeping the grounds beautiful. He was excellent with communications, making sure I had what I needed. Thanks!

If that wasn't enough I married a fine Roosky' and have visited Russia three times!

Why this property? This free standing Cottage is one of a kind. Your quarters are set back and away from out main house (25 paces) affording unique privacy. Entry is separate and private. My wife and I are close enough if you need us urgently, yet far away (enough) so that you will feel your stay is private. A garden sitting space with table is just out your door. Did I mention you have your own instant start Weber BBQ for outdoor grilling?

What makes this property unique

Trader Joe's is just blocks away. UC Davis is one block away. Downtown Davis just six blocks away for restaurants, bars, movie houses and shopping. Bring your bike or borrow ours. Davis is very bike friendly!
