Spectacular view of the cathedral, spacious room for 4, comfortable beds, central location that can't be beat. We knew we were in a popular location so we didn’t really mind the bustle and nightly noise. Easy day trips to Colmar and Riqueville plus Kehl Germany. Great restaurants within walking distance. We loved our stay in this stylish flat!

Great place, everything was perfect. Location excellent, room excellent, the place was perfect perfect. One problem and only one. The hall way and entrance dark and very hard to get it. Need better lighting in hall way.I would rent that place again and again. What a gem!!!!

Our first time visiting, staying in Strasbourg. This was a great apartment for the 4 of us. Plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen and large refrigerator in the pantry. Easy to navigate to/from train station. The only concern we all had was regarding the stairs leading up to apartment. They are very dark and not well lit.

A wonderful apartment in the heart of it all.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Be prepared to be right in the middle of tourist central (and all that may entail). But being able to look out on the square and at the cathedral is magical. The layout of the apartment is nice as the bedrooms are private. The kitchen and apartment overall is very well equipped, especially if you like to cook rather than eating out. We were two adult couples and very much enjoyed this space.

La Place de la Cathédrale We and our friends have rented this apartment three times. The views are beautiful, the open space is ideal for families or groups. It’s located in the heart of everything wonderful in Strasbourg. We did have an issue this last stay with no hot water, but this was our only issue.

La Place de la Cathédrale "Great place to stay that is right in the center of the action! We had the best view around and it was an amazing central location to check out Strasbourg ! Some reviewers mentioned the noise so we booked it understanding what we were getting into. Being right in the center of the action isn't for everyone, so there are times I personally would choose to stay a little further away for a quieter setting. Plenty of space, great restaurants nearby, and a view that cannot be beat!"

La Place de la Cathédrale "The view of the cathedral from the living room is fabulous. The kitchen is super well equipped. I would definitely stay again. We were there inly four nights, but it would also be perfect for a ling stay of several months. In addition to being in the cultural center, there's a grocery store nearby. Note that the street and square below are pedestrian and lively, so in the summer with open windows you have people noise. We were fine with it, but it might bother others."

La Place de la Cathédrale "We loved staying right across from the cathedral - even though it was a bit loud and busy, we loved to keep the windows open and look at the cathedral even at night. Excellent location! The apartment is huge with 2 big bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen is well stocked with almost anything you would need. Only downside is that it does not have AC, and one of the main fans in the living room did not work. But they had 3 other fans so we were comfortable. Will definitely stay here again!"

Wonderful place! Great location. Noise only a problem on Sat. night. Only gave us 1 big towel and 1 hand towel for a week but brought more on request. The big problem was NO heat and it was 39F at night. This never got fixed but we like to sleep cold and were out during the day.! I would definitely stay again as Strasbourg is a great jump off place for the area and apartment is hugh. There is NO elevator

Perfect for our family of four

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment! It was a private oasis in the middle of all the hustle-and-bustle of the cathedral square. We were concerned about no air conditioning in July, but we stayed quite comfortable with an excellent cross-breeze from the many windows, as well as fans. If you are sensitive to city noise, this might not be the place for you. But, we loved being in the center of it all. The double-paned windows were very effective at keeping the noise level down, but we preferred them open for the fresh air and to watch the activity in the square. The house was very clean, and well stocked with all essentials. Anything extra you might need is just steps away from your front door.

On arrival, the outside entrance was a little concerning, but the apartment itself was all it was advertised to be. The unit's keypad was initially hard to find in the darkness of the hallway, high up on the door frame. The description was that it was in the center of things, but we did not appreciate beforehand how much that was so. The cathedral square is crowded and full of activity (until about 9:30 PM), but the double-paned windows reduce the noise to a background hum (in October). Always something to watch going on outside. Usually one or two buskers plying their trade, some very good. The cathedral bell ringing was not an issue for us. Everything we needed was a short walk away, and the tram service to the station or outer neighborhoods was easy. In our week in the unit, we slept and relaxed well. We did not need to contact the host. Instructions were clear and comprehensive.

Dark entry

First property is in an A location. Right next to Cathedral. Arrived at night. There were no lights around the door or number we had to get out of taxi and use cell phone lights. Kind of pain.Also our automatic key lock stopped working and we knew it was glitching we tried to be proactive and the management didn’t return email till next day. Meanwhile that night we were locked out and after several tries got in touch w/ their on call service. They resolved the problem but I had to go and collect the physical key after over an hour of trying to figure it out.That really took a lot on my end .

The apartment is in an absolutely fantastic visual location, and is literally opposite the main entrance of the Cathedral. This has advantages and disadvantages. PROS: The apartment offers unbeatable views from a central location. There is one brighter room, and one darker quieter one so would be ideal if staying with children. The apartment is incredibly spacious with fully separate living and sleeping quarters. You can enjoy an elevated view of the Cathedral square, and there is space to entertain a couple of guests if you and others are travelling to the same location.CONS: The apartment is very hot and noisy, with unreliable access. I would expect more proactive servicing of the apartment given the cost. There was no air conditioning, and while there were fans, the one in the master suite was dirty, and one of the two in the living space was broken. The TVs did not work at all. While we did have amazing views of the light show at the cathedral when they were testing it, on our last night it went into full effect and it looped 12 times interfering with sleep. Similarly, the apartment is above a bar and people were up cheering the football until 1am. The crockery in the apartment was also dirty when we took it out to use it. This may be explained by an email saying that if we did not take out the trash, and wash and pack away all dishes, that we would be charged an additional cleaning fee. This was sent the day before checkout.

La literie est impeccable et l'appartement cosy, confortable et très bien décoré. point négatif, étant donné les frais d'entretien/ménage très élevés, l'appartement aurait du être impeccable, ce qui n'était pas le cas. poussière dans les coins et sur les meubles, évacuations des douches sales, toilettes mal fixés. Lieu très central et bruyant, au coeur de Strasbourg, cela mériterait d'envisager une isolation phonique aux fenêtres"
