You’ll be just 3 miles from close by historical sites, 10 miles from downtown savannah (where you can find all the boutique shopping, fine dining restaurants, and family-friendly activities this city has to offer) and just 25 miles from Tybee Island beach.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Strip all beds and collect all towels and put on the floor in the laundry room. Start a load before leaving. Have all dishes clean or put in the Dishwasher. Run the dishwasher before leaving.
Empty all items from the refrigerator and pantry and take perishable items with you. Empty all trash cans throughout the house and take trash out to the trash can outside. *Do not take to the street*
If you moved any Furniture or any outside items, please return it to its original location. Make sure the dock it left as it was when you arrived & make sure the dock ladder is pulled up out of water

Lisa was the hostess with the mostess!! Seriously the house was stunning, very clean, well stocked with all the things in the kitchen. The pool was amazing and you cannot beat the deck with a cup of coffee and that sunrise. Absolutely 5 stars!

Peaceful Get away for Christmas.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Moon River house. It was lovely. Made for a much needed calm and peaceful Christmas Holiday. We will def stay again in the future.

Lovely House and Lovely Setting

Very homey feel, beautiful house, beautiful setting and equal access to Savannah and Hilton Head. Close to Wormslow and a must visit location … beautiful live oak alley and walk, trolly or bike ride. Seen dolphins by the dock too.

A Fun, Family Getaway

The Moon River House provided all our family needed for an amazing week away. From fishing on the dock to soaking up the sunshine by the pool, there was so much for everyone to enjoy. Let’s also talk about location! The house was in perfect distance to both Tybee and Savannah, allowing us to visit both the beach and historic landmarks.Above all, Lisa was wonderful to work with and was quick to respond if we had any questions. Family vacation

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend getaway with the entire family! Although the house had TVs in every room, we never needed them—there was just too much to enjoy outside. Between the sparkling pool and the gorgeous dock, there was always something to do: fishing, kayaking, swimming, or simply relaxing by the water. The home was spotless and decorated with a charming beach theme that made it feel cozy and welcoming. Our host was excellent—quick to respond and so helpful with any questions. Most importantly, The Moon River House gave our family the perfect place to unwind, laugh, and make lasting memories together. We're already planning our next trip to return!

River Relaxation

Wonderful Wedding Weekend

We booked this home for a wedding weekend. It was so spacious. Huge kitchen and living area plus plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms which allowed us to spread out. Wonderful views and very welcoming. Owner was great to work with and home is in a great location. Would love to return!

Beautiful property

Moon River House is a beautiful property inside and out. We had a wonderful time hanging out by the pool and sitting out on the dock (we even saw river dolphins!). The home itself is clean and beautifully decorated. Great communication with the owner. A quiet neighborhood close to downtown Savannah. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay in Moon River

Fantastic Home

Great Home with everything you need and more! Lisa was wonderful and her home was amazing with anything you need for a great week. Dock was clean and easily accessible, pool was great, beds were amazing, would stay here again no questions asked! Within driving distance of pretty much anything, and far enough that you can get away from the crowd!

Savannah charm

We stayed at this property with friends and we loved our first time experience in Savannah (we wish we had a few more days)! The house was clean, the property was beautiful, and the host Lisa was so sweet and accommodating for all of our needs (jason as well, he taught us Minnesotans how to crab)! Midnight runs and armidillos

Our group came to the area for a race and to sight see and the place was perfect for both. Everything was beautiful and the couches and beds were very comfortable to laze about on. At first my wife was concered about safety with the river and pool with out 6 year old daughter, but once we got there it was clear that everything was very secure and safe. My biggest problem with the property is that now I want to stay there when we come back to visit.

A little slice of heaven!

This property was the perfect home base for our family vacation. The mornings on the water were beautiful and the layout of the home was exactly what we needed for three couples and a toddler. It was well stocked and there were lots of great amenities. Unfortunately the pool heater wasn't working so it was too cold to use the pool but I can imagine on a hot summer day how lovely it would be! We still snuck in a few 60 degree swims :) Highly recommend!

Savannah Charm

From the moment we drove up to the day we left, our experience at the Moon River House was nothing short of amazing. Our host was so hospitable - from the sweet treats awaiting us on arrival to going out of the way to make sure we experienced the best the Savannah area had to offer. The home was well appointed with enough space for 8 adults to spread out. Every morning we took our coffee to the end of the dock to watch the beautiful sunrise over the Moon River. We enjoyed the clean pool almost daily and the porch bed swing was divine. The Moon River House exceeded our expectations. We were blessed to have experienced Savannah hospitality at its best!
