Host was great, place wasn't very clean unfortunately. Hot water pressure was poor. But otherwise very pleasant to stay! Gilberto was very helpful, we're grateful he was there for us.

Great Location

Overall, we had a great time with family for a quick family getaway. Great location near lake with a beautiful view. The overall cleanliness of the cabin needs some work. The pots and pans were clean despite what one of the prevous reviews stated. The showers a super small and they didn't provide any shampoos other than hand soap. The foundation is slightly slanted which made it uncomfortable to sleep in one of the bedrooms. Nonetheless, we'd stay there again.

Was definitely disappointed that we were left with less than 2 rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. Called property manager on saturday morning to say we were out of TP and there appeared to be none stored there. Thankfully property management had someone come out on saturday and drop off 2 more rolls of TP and some paper towels. Seems to me it should be standard that there would be extra TP at the site in a cupboard somewhere.

Great Location - minus cleanliness

My family and I spent a few days at big bear. The property is in a great location, near the lake and very close to the downtown area. The cabin is large and had plenty of amenities to entertain our family. Some areas to improve is the cleanliness of the cabin, the baseboards were dusty, the doors and counters has dirt stains as well. This was also the case in the bathrooms as well: The pots and pans in the kitchen were greasy and dirty, mainly because they hang over the stover and don’t seem to be part of the cleaning routine. The remotes were also greasy and the carpets throughout stained with what it looked like vomit. The kitchen tile floor didn’t seems to be thoroughly cleaned either. The refrigerator was wobbling and I was concerned it would tip over, it wasn’t secured in place. We made the most of our time there.
