Unwind on the deck watching sunsets over the lake. The well stocked kitchen provides everything you need to enjoy a simple meal in.

Bring your boat to enjoy all the fishing Lake Osakis has to offer. The public boat launch is just a few blocks away, as well as the public beach. An onsite fish cleaning house is available for use.

For the little members of your family there is a public park within walking distance and plenty of open common area near the cabin to run.

Osakis Country Club is 0.4 miles away offering a scenic 9 hole course. Local restaurants to try include AJ's Cafe for amazing breakfasts and Tip Top for your ice cream fix.

Our cabin retreat offers quiet relaxation within miles of a larger community. Take a drive to Alexandria to experience Carlos Creek Winery and our favorite, Pike and Pint. The lobster nachos are a must try!

Beautiful Lake View

Summary: Great property, owner easy to work with, great location. Group of 3 adults and a 5yo - stayed for a week, highly recommend! This sweet little lake cabin has spectacular views of Osakis Lake from the porch/back room. The foot print may be small, but they've made the most of the space and the layout is great for a small family or group. Just a few steps down to the dock and convenient to public beach access just up the street. The other direction up the street is a fantastic playground with several picnic pavilions (and bathrooms!). If cute small town is what you want, Osakis is perfect. If you're looking for more, Alexandria is a quick and easy 15-20min drive. We spent a lot of this trip fishing at the various public access points around Lake Osakis (highly recommend Battle Point!) The cabin has a mini-fridge specifically for fish - super convenient! Prompt responses from the owner to all our questions while we were planning this trip, and once we got there we had one follow-up question about the Wi-Fi that was answered immediately too. We didn't have any major problems on this trip (which is amazing and exactly how vacations should be!)

Awesome Lakeside Cabin

The view of Lake Osakis was beautiful. The cabin is right on the lake. And it's a great lake. The town is pretty quite, but still has a lot going on in summer. I loved the access to the Lake Wobegon Trail or the Central Lakes Trail. The cabin itself was very clean and had brand new utensils and pots and pans. If the weather isn't great, there's a big flat screen tv that swivels to be viewable from most common areas. There is a deck AND an enclosed patio. I spent most of my time on the deck or the patio. Highly recommended.

Nice cabin, easy boat launch, fishing hole

Nice cabin just as shown in the pictures. The public boat launch was 2 minutes away, it made boating daily super easy. Plenty of trailer parking at the launch. The fishing hole is about 100-200 yards straight out from the cabin. We watched a lot of people/boats fish the hole all weekend long. We caught bass/crappies off the dock. Great sunsets. We brought our own grill.

Peaceful getaway

My husband and I loved this cabin and location. We wanted a quiet, peaceful place for our vacation and we found it. The cabin was newly updated, clean, and cozy. The view was amazing and the sunsets were gorgeous. We rented a pontoon boat and spent a few days enjoying the water. Very friendly, easy to navigate town with a larger town (Alexandria) within 10 miles. We bought extra towels to use (the cabin came stocked with three bath towels). For two people, we had plenty of space and were very comfortable. Lovely location!

Awesome Sunsets!

We had a great time at this location and it is very accurate to what the listing was. It was right on the lake and we had our happy hour every night watching the sun go down. Both the Central Lakes and Lake Wobegon Bike trails were within blocks from us.
