Get away from the hustle & bustle of busy life and relax at this cozy cabin. Enjoy the picturesque sunsets by the fire while you roast marshmallows. If fishing is your thing, Lake Osakis is famous for its fishing! Need a nature reboot? Walks in the area are sure to give you all the best of nature. There are plenty of games available after the sun goes down too. For the adventurer in you, there is a canoe, paddle board or other water sports available. A quick walk to The Head of the Lakes for an ice cream cone is sure to satisfy the kid in everyone.
This cabin comfortably sleeps 5 but can accommodate more with a sleeper sofa. Have a boat? No problem! There are built-in bumpers and cleats on the dock. If you’re lucky enough to catch fish, use the outdoor fish cleaning table for your convenience!
Need a place for the teens to hang? The screened-in boat house is a perfect hang out spot with a dart board and access to music.
You’ll have access to a 15’ canoe, stand-up paddle board that converts to a sit-down kayak, ladder ball, bean bag boards, bocce ball and the fire pit.
You can gas up the boat less than 1/4 mile away right on the lake at the Head of the Lakes resort. Call ahead and pick up your burgers while you’re there!
Head into the town of Osakis for a game of bowling at the Bowling Barn. Grab a loaded Bloody Mary at O Town Tavern or breakfast at AJs Cafe. Need a quick pick-me-up? There’s fresh coffee in town while you enjoy some shopping. Don’t forget to grab an ice cream at the famous Tip Top Dairy Bar. *Outdoor security cameras are on the property and coverage includes part of the driveway, the entry door, lakeside yard and dock. However, once you have arrived, the cameras will be turned off unless you request otherwise.

Great Cabin!

Our family of 4 had a great time at the cabin! The kids loved swimming in the lake, fishing, bonfires, paddle boarding and looking for the pelicans. The beds were comfortable and the the cabin was very clean. There was also everything you could need as far as kitchen supplies. We had a great time and will definitely be going back!

Cozy and Beautiful

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. My kids enjoyed fishing off the canoe and kyak catching a ton of sunfish. The cabin was perfect for a family of 5. We cooked almost all of our meals and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We look forward to stayung here again!

Cabin was great. Parking was easy. Boathouse screen hideaway was perfect for enjoying the mid day out of the heat. Fishing tales at the local resort down the road of biggest Sunfish around. We will be back.

This is a beautiful, clean and well-maintained property. We really appreciated all of the activities at the cabin that enhanced the overall experience, as there is something to do for all age groups. The beds are comfortable and the linens were soft and clean. Our family especially enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets over the lake each night. We had a wonderful time at Fish Hook Cabin and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay with a lot of activities nearby while in the lakes area.

Lake Oasis

Cute and quaint lake cabin on Osakis. Ease of check in, amenities, and view were top notch. The cabin was easy to find and smelled amazing when we arrived. The loacal boat launch was close by and the boat lift worked well. Fishing- we had many fish fries, boating, tubing, swimming in the sandy beach and SUP boarding daily. Our family enjoyed every minute at the cabin. Thank you for letting our family enjoy your lake oasis.

Nature retreat

The lake view was perfect. We could see occasional boaters (speed, pontoon, canoe) but motors never intruded. We were visited daily by a large pelican slowly paddling by and a group of Canadian geese (4 adults, 5 goslings) on the shoreline, and a black squirrel. The cabin was furnished with many added features (TV, grilling and fire pit items, kitchen supplies, comfy beds and towels).My friend and I were celebrating her retirement and we wanted a quiet retreat to relax by the water, read, play board games, or just rest. Fish Hook Cozy Cabin offered that for us.

Beautiful lake cabin with lots of amenities!

We were there to celebrate my sister’s birthday. This cabin was able to accommodate the 6 of us comfortably. It had everything we needed. It even had Alexa!. We had firepit by the lake and we enjoyed being out even though it was very windy! I would have loved to go and out to the lake and use the canoe but it was so cold and windy! Next time! We would love to come back here again!

You have to come back another time and hopefully the weather will cooperate. The sunsets are a dream, especially with calm water. A canoe or paddle board trip along the shore is the cure for a hectic week. Glad you could enjoy it.

Fish Hook Fun

We really enjoyed our stay at Fish Hook Cabin. We played on the water during the day. Paddle boarded, tubed and lounged in the water. Our kids loved hanging out in the boathouse playing darts. We played bags as a family with the boards that were available. Used the hammock to lounge in. We appreciated all the kitchen accessories that made it easy to prepare our meals with. BEST getaway!!

My husband and I had a WONDERFUL 4 day stay in this adorable cabin! We spent our time relaxing, enjoying the beautiful view, cooking some new recipes, dropping our boat in the super conveniently close launch pad, golfing and exploring. It was quiet and peaceful. Alexandria is about 15 or so minutes away where there's a Target or WalMart for those things you may have forgotten and a grocery store. The cabin is stocked with everything you need, all is super clean and updated, there's a fire pit for S'mores and bonfires at night. We had a wonderful time and are already trying to strategize on how to return before summer's end. Thank You!!!!!!!!!

What makes this property unique

While the Fish Hook cabin is on a nearly 6000 acre lake known for its fishing, It is also set in the country on a dirt road. The sunsets every evening are breath-taking and will make you want to just sit back and watch nature’s water colors of the sky constantly morph. In the evening, you can look up and see more stars that you are likely ever used to seeing. When you go for a walk, you are likely to see deer, pheasant, fox, turkey or other animals. On the lake, there are pelicans, ducks, grebes, loons, eagles, etc. Overall, it is such a peaceful, nature-filled experience and place to unwind and relax.
