Terrible cabin
Sewage backed up and covered the front lawn, walkway, and side of the house. Couldn’t stand to be outside due to the smell, sewage water leaked out from up stairs bathroom down into the main bedroom. Took 5 days several phone calls and emails to get bear tootin rental company to assist with the issue. They said it was pet friendly but what they don’t tell you is the cabins cleaning lady lives across the creek with her 14 dogs that bark all day and night, zero peacefulness. The cabin had cobwebs everywhere, stair way light was broken maintenance worker told us it’s been broke for 3 years and they won’t fix it. All the cabinets in the kitchen are packed full of appliances that you have nowhere to put groceries. Bed were extremely uncomfortable might as well been sleeping on the floor. Very tiny cabin for 6 people and a pet to attempt to stay in together. The back porch has a serious bee problem you have to be careful anytime you attempt to go off the back porch. The grill was so full of crud and grease it was unusable, pretty sure it’s never been cleaned. The dishwasher you have to run twice to get the dishes clean, we gave up and just did them by hand. There are no towels for the hot tub at all and only 6 towels in the cabin so you have to do laundry everyday if you want a clean towel after you shower. waste of money and wasted vacation time. After 5 days of getting the run around bear tootin finally moved us to a new cabin. Google guest reviews before booking with bear tootin

Perfect for family
This is the type of place I am always searching for my family to stay at—a place where we don’t have to leave in order for the kids to be entertained. Our kids played and played in the creek and in the hot tub. They really had a blast!

Yellow cabin
I know it's near the woods but wish the owner knocked down the millions of cobwebs all over. The cabin was very clean. Didn't have an air pump to blow up the tubes only one was inflated. Beautiful scenery and peaceful. Our dogs had a blast swimming in the river. My family had an good time

Family Vacation
A very cute cabin with all the basic amenities, but in need of a good power washing to the outside and porches. The landscaping is overgrown with tall weeds and moss. As a working family it was hard not to just clean it up ourself. The creek was calm to watch.

Quaint and cozy Cabin
This was our first experience using Vrbo and it was definitely a good one. Owner was wonderful! We decided to stay an extra night and it was quickly accommodated and such an easy process. The cabin is cute with all the amenities needed. The extra games and basketball was a great touch for families. We would definitely stay at this cabin again. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Very peaceful!
We just had a great 4 night stay here. Overwhelmingly positive - the cabin was very clean, well stocked, location and size were perfect for what we needed. We had strong cell signal without even connecting to wifi. Since I was with my teenager this was especially important. We loved the easy access to the creek. The covered front and back porches with gates were great and we loved the porch swing and hot tub. Over all this is a very nice, comfortable cabin. A few minor issues - the sheds were all locked and there were supposed to be river tubes available from the shed. I called and I received a return call and text about this and an offer to reimburse if we purchased our own tubes. We went to Walmart and bought some cheap tubes and it wasn't a big deal in the end. The hammock in the listing pictures was broken and crumpled up by the shed. This was not a huge deal but we might have used it if it was working. The grass was high when we arrived, and someone came to mow it just after we got our stuff brought in. I wish that the mowing had been arranged prior to our check in because neither me nor my daughter wanted to go outdoors while there was a man we didn't know mowing the property. With check in being at 4pm I feel like the grass should have been cut prior to our arrival. The main thing that I would change is the sheer curtains in the living room and kitchen, I would put blinds up. The sheer curtains are a bit spooky after it gets dark... Not such a big deal in the summer when it gets dark late, but it would freak me out in the fall or winter. Every other room had blinds so it wasn't a big deal but I didn't like that anybody could potentially just see in. The Newport area is okay, I would definitely recommend grocery shopping at the huge, nice Food City 6 miles away and not the Walmart, which, although a little bit closer, was pretty grim (even more so than the average Walmart). There's not anything to do in Newport but you could get anything that you would need there. The ride into Pigeon Forge was very pretty/scenic and not overly congested with traffic like I had feared, same for the drive in to Gatlinburg. Gas was much cheaper in this area as well. Would definitely recommend this cabin and would definitely stay here again!

This was a very nice place to stay. Loved the river behind the cabin! The only drawback was further from Pigeon Forge than I thought but the scenic route to Pigeon Forge was beautiful!

Peaceful and Private
We absolutely loved the Yellow Cabin! The location is perfect for peace, quiet, and seclusion. Fishing right in the backyard was so convenient and the fire pit and hammock area just added to the serene atmosphere. We needed a break from work and real life and this was the perfect weekend getaway. We plan to come back yearly!
