Welcome to Crazy Bear Den!

"Crazy Bear Den" is a BEAUTIFUL one bedroom, 2-story cabin that is PERFECT for a wonderful ROMANTIC GETAWAY!

Tucked away in a quaint area just outside of town, but you will feel miles away nestled in the mountains! This cabin is surrounded by trees making it absolutely wonderful! This Charming classic cabin has beautiful wood walls & ceilings & all wood floors. With over 1000 sq ft of living space, you will have plenty of room to relax & spend great quality time together. And nothing is more romantic than cozying up with your love next to a wood burning Fire Place listening to the crackling of the fire!

The living room is Cute & Cozy with a wood burning fireplace, comfortable furnishings, new couch (not pictured) and a large 55" flat screen smart TV with Full Cable Package, High Speed WiFi and DVD player (DVD movies are available for your enjoyment). Also you will find a classic Game Console with many vintage games for 1 to 2 players......and we always have cards & great games for extra fun!

The kitchen is fully equipped if you decide to stay home and cook that perfect meal. We also have a complimentary coffee bar for your enjoyment! Off the kitchen there is a half bath. On this level you will also find a covered front porch with a swing, a pub table for 2 with high quality comfortable swivel chairs, and a gas grill ready to go for romantic cookouts. The covered deck is especially nice to have if you get a little Tennessee rain!

Head on upstairs and you will find a BEAUTIFUL Master Suite with a comfy King sized bed, large bathtub, 46" flat screen TV with full cable package and a wood burning fireplace. Also in the Master Suite you will find a queen size sofa bed in case you bring the kiddos (fresh sheets are provided for sofa bed). The master bath has a tub/shower combo, with quality comfy towels. And don't forget to head out to the relaxing Hot Tub on the upper level covered deck to relax & unwind. We do supply large Spa towels for the Hot Tub. Also there are 2 wood rockers to take in the view sipping a glass of wine or your morning coffee. Crazy Bear Den is very well taken care of and very loved by our guests!

This cabin is conveniently located just 3 miles to downtown Pigeon Forge, 7 miles to Dollywood and 12 miles to Gatlinburg.

*If the schedule allows, we always offer free early check in. We can sometimes let you know in advance, but sometimes will not know until check in day. Let us know if you plan on arriving early and we will keep you posted. Also, if you are coming in late, let us know and we will make sure the porch light is on for you.

Cabin was beautiful. Tucked away where you could noy hear or see neighbors. The porch swing was nice to sit out on and enjoy the squirrels, birds and the 1 single deer that visited us 1 day. Cabin had everything we needed. It rained nearly everyday so we made use of the grill. Lots of games to pass the time. Hosts were great in communicating making sure we had everything we needed even left us a basket of treats. Great place to relax and get away. Close to everything you need as well.

We stayed over the 4th of July weekend and this home did not disappoint. Everything was as described, very clean and comfortable. Excellent location - less than 10 minutes to the parkway but felt very secluded. Communication with the owners was exceptional.

Perfect location

The Crazy Bear Den is best cabin we have stayed at in pigeon forge. Everything you need in a cabin and some. Location is perfect too with being close to the strip as well as quick access to Teaster lane and Veterans Blvd. Darrin is a great host and made sure we knew that we could come to them if needed. Will not be disappointed with your stay here.

14th Anniversary

I loved the location and the beautiful cabin we stayed in. Bed and couch were pretty uncomfortable but that’s it. Everything was furnished and ready when we got there. Thank you to the owners for leaving us a box of candy and beer for our anniversary.

The cutest little cabin imaginable

I cannot recommend the Crazy Bear Den enough! I adored it and my stay there! It was the perfect property for me to relax for a couple of days. (It also would have been perfect for a couple’s getaway.) Everything was as described and there were little extra touches everywhere (like towels for the hot tub and blankets on/near the couches). The host was fantastic to interact with and truly seemed to care about my experience as a guest. If I return to the area (which I hope to), I will absolutely look to stay in this cabin again.

Perfect getaway!

These pictures do not do this place justice! Beautiful woodwork, decor, location...it is perfect! We packed things that we thought we would need (lighter, trash bags, paper towels, blender) and never used them because the cabin had it! We can not wait to come back! Communication with the host was/is super easy from the moment we made the reservations to the moment we pulled off the property for the last time.

The house was perfect. Darrin and Michelle respond quickly and actually care about the comfort of their guests. They even left us a little welcome treat which was so sweet! You do have visible neighbors from both sides but it did not bother us at all. The road up was a breeze and the cabin was everything and more. I love sleeping in the cold so I appreciate the extra fan. Thank you both again!

Anniversary Getaway

Darrin and Michelle, you thought of everything to make our stay wonderful! Body wash, dishwasher tablets, and a few extra necessities we may have forgotten were left for us. The bed was super comfy, and we would have slept the day away if it was not for our wonderful nature friends giving us a wake-up call. The cabin was spotless, and the location was perfect. Even though other homes are nearby, the area is peaceful and enjoyable. Besides the game console, there is a deck of cards, UNO, checkers, and DVDs. There was a fan in the closet, which my husband thanks you tremendously for having available! We were able to shut off the daily distractions so that we could reconnect and celebrate our anniversary. If reconnecting is what you need to do with your partner, I HIGHLY recommend this cabin. We loved our stay and will reserve this cabin again!

Awesome Stay!

We loved our stay at Crazy Bear Den! The check-in process was seamless and the property was exceptionally clean. I work in property management so I pay close attention to the cleanliness of the properties I rent. The house itself was way better in person, Darrin & Michelle really thought of all the little details! We forgot towels for the hot tub and by our surprise they provided 2 extra towels specifically for the hot tub. The King bed was very comfortable and they provided several extra throw blankets throughout. Those were probably the softest blankets I have ever felt, we almost didn’t want to get out of bed. I also really appreciated that the bath towels were really great quality. We cooked breakfast and dinner each day and we had everything we needed to cook a full meal. We also liked how the house was secluded but not too far from downtown Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, this was super convenient for us. We would definitely stay here again and I have already sent this property to several friends that are looking for a weekend getaway. Thanks again for a great stay!
