We hosted a retreat for three days in August. We loved the combination of outdoor spaces, the beautiful and multipurpose yard, the large meeting spaces, huge windows, light and the gorgeous views. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was fully fitted out, the parking sufficient for a large group, and inside was beautiful. We will use this location again for future events that involve family get-togethers, work related events and just plain fun times hanging with friends. It was also pet friendly for 1 dog (a service animal).
We had three families stay at this house! It was very comfortable and fun for everyone! I definitely recommend this house if you have a big family who wants to be together!
The house was perfect for our gathering<3 So many areas-indoor and outdoor-for people to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We stayed with 4 families and there was plenty of space. The views are breathtaking and the comfort of furniture and beds was refreshing. The hosts were fabulous at communicating with us and accommodating our needs. Thanks, Brendon & Fam :)
We truly enjoyed our weekend away at this beautiful property. There was enough room for everyone and it had everything we needed to cook big family meals. The kids enjoyed the play room over the garage, looked forward to sleeping in the bunk beds and the adults stayed up until midnight playing games and catching up. Great communication with the owners, plenty of parking and all the extras. We look forward to staying here again in the summer and doing some hiking.
We came to watch the OU vs. BYU game. Comfortably slept 14 adults. We cooked on the grill, sat around the fire pit and climbed the mountain just off the back yard. If you have a group going out to BYU to play your favorite college team, or want a great ski base camp I highly recommend you stay here. Brendon was a super host!
We travelled to the area to visit the university our daughter will be attending. The home was perfect! Roomy yet cozy. We have six children with a span of ages and all loved the house. The home owners are accessible, polite, and professional. Our only regret was not staying a day or two longer.
We were in Orem for a wedding, a group of 18 of us stayed at the house with plenty of room. 8 kids aged 5-15 years old - they were outside the entire time. Playing basketball, volleyball, swinging and the trampoline. We will def stay again! Thank you Brendon!
There is not a single negative thing I could say about our stay. There were so many different spaces to gather. The house was stocked with everything you need. There was a lot of entertainment for kids and adults both inside and outside. The hiking trail was right behind the property and beautiful views in every direction. It was also extremely helpful to have so many trash cans available.
What I was most impressed by was the owners putting up a tree and decorations for Christmas. Would highly recommend !!

Needs some work
Pros: lots of room and gathering places, good communication with host and easy check in process
Cons: the house really needs a good cleaning! We were so disappointed in how dirty the house was. Including outdoor seating areas. Did not love basement living area. Wish the landscaping was more inviting and better attended to.
After reading previous reviews I expected more. With a little financial investment this would be a great house. Needs an update and a deep clean.
Property was nice. We were excited to have 2 kitchens, but the downstairs kitchen didn’t have anything in it. The main kitchen had stuff, but was missing serving dishes (things like Pyrex) and an assortment of measuring cups and spoons (we were able to make do with what was there, but would have been nice to have them all available). House was set up good. We had a group of 18 people and everyone had a place to sleep. Kids loved that the house had a ping pong table, fooseball table, pac man arcade and basketball arcade all inside. They also enjoyed the outdoor basketball, volleyball, trampoline and swings (happy occupied kids make for happy moms). Check in and check out was seemless. Owner’s communication was great. Great location. We ended up wanting a couple items and the store was only like a mile a way. Perfect 😊

Should not be described as luxury
I do not post negative reviews. I usually just don’t give a review if it wasn’t a good stay. We paid so much for the “luxury” that I expected clean. The house is outdated but it wouldn’t matter if it had been clean. There are outside amenities that could be amazing if they were taken care of. But many were simply unusable. We rented this house because of the outdoor amenities but wound up using none of them because the volleyball pit was mostly used by the neighborhood cats and not cleaned out. Everything else was in serious need of maintenance and cleaning. There are too many things for me to list. The host was responsive at first when I messaged him about the blood stain and dirt on the duvet cover. (It was small but still a blood stain). He sent someone over with a new cover. But I had already washed all the bedding and remade it. We had traveled for 10 hours and just wanted to nap. I sent him more messages about the cleanliness with no response. The house would be good for a big group but it needs a detailed deep clean by a detail oriented person. I really don’t want to give anyone a negative review but I just wish I would have paid attention to the other reviews before I booked.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear your experience fell short of expectations—we take these comments seriously and are always striving to improve.
Our outdoor amenities are one of the highlights of the property, and we normally perform a deep spring clean of all exterior spaces by mid-to-late April, depending on weather. Being in the mountains, snow and early spring storms can delay this effort. That said, we’re looking at ways to get a jumpstart on this process when conditions allow, so guests earlier in the season can enjoy the full outdoor experience.
Regarding the cleanliness issue: I appreciated your initial message and tried to respond quickly with a replacement duvet cover. I’m sorry to hear you didn’t receive a follow-up—this isn’t typical, and I’m looking into what happened there. We’ve since completed a full deep clean and walkthrough to ensure the home meets the standards we expect.
We genuinely value guest feedback, even when it’s hard to hear, because it helps us improve. I hope future guests can see that we’re responsive, thoughtful, and committed to making this a welcoming place for families and groups to enjoy the mountains.
We had our wedding ceremony at this house. We all stayed in it for a week to hang out, decorate, prepare, etc., it was a lovely experience. Beautiful house and backyard, beautiful location for a wedding. Our wedding photos are beyond gorgeous!
Upon arrival we had a few concerns that needed to be addressed immediately, & the Hosts corrected them very promptly! Excellent communication. We had a 30 ish' person wedding in the backyard. Everything was so beautiful. From the landscaping to the inside of the house. My advise is to look thoroughly in every room because there's spaces & amenities that aren't listed. This property is wonderful. ONE NEGATIVE: We had 9 people (child included) that fell outside and injured themselves quite badly, all because their rocked steps are loose & there's no light to illuminate that specific area at night. I honestly guarantee we're not the first to fall, & won't be the last! Watch out & walk slow. Overall Brenden & Christina have a gorgeous property & our wedding day was perfect! Would highly recommend! Absolutely a wonderful home & location. Thanks to you both. Many blessings ♡
