We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful, comfortable home. The owner has paid attention to every detail and is extremely helpful. We loved the location close to the TAM for dog walks and the Co-Op for last-minute ingredients and snacks. Would definitely stay here again!

We are so delighted to share our family home with other lovely families like yours...especially when including the fur babies is a treasured part of the vacation experience.
The house was charming and welcoming. The owners were easy to work with and very gracious. The hot tub was an added bonus after a long day of skiing and there were many local restaurants and shops to walk to. I highly recommend this home for a Vermont getaway.

So glad your family could come together to celebrate your MIDD graduate in our home!! We so value the college in our community and are happy to share our place for other families to sleep, eat and be merry- especially for these milestone life events!
I had a lovely stay in this tastefully appointed house.
Lisa was amazing with communication from the start.
The ease of booking and this wonderful home in quaint Middlebury exceeded my expectations. I plan to stay here again in just a few weeks. Can't wait!
Lisa was great! The cottage was really nice! Super cozy! And the ping pong table was fun! Just be careful that you route the location as Middlebury, Vermont & NOT Middlebury, Connecticut. We flew into Boston and drove from there. Maps will automatically route you to the nearest “address” and nearest Middlebury, which is in Connecticut, NOT Vermont.

Thanks Alva for choosing the Middlebury Cottage for the NESCAC sporting event! We are so glad you got to experience our sweet village and The College!
Lisa is a great host, very prompt in her responses and very hospitable- her house is clean, well furnished and very comfortable. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard and we the hot tub, especially after skiing at Snow Bowl which 30 minutes away.
Had great meals at Jessica’s and the Two brothers tavern; bagels / breakfast/deli and groceries were great to have at walking distances. Great getaway!
`Lovely house, close to downtown Middlebury in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of space for friends and family.
Aircon in every room made sleeping so comfortable.
The house is well-appointed and communication with the properly manager is prompt and excellent.
This beautiful and charming cottage was perfect in every way for our family. All amenities we needed were at our fingertips, and the check-in process was seamless. Professionally managed by Lisa every step of the way! The location is steps from campus and downtown Middlebury. Thank you Lisa for the joy and delight of staying in such a lovely home. Exceptional in every way. We can't wait to be back!

It warms my heart when our guests feel the same joy staying in The MIDD Cottage as we do! Thanks for being so wonderful and definitely love to have you again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Midd Cottage. All the comforts of home and convenient location to town and campus will bring us back to this property. Also, the owner makes herself accessible should you have any questions or concerns. We didn’t but it was reassuring to know that she was only a phone call away.
We rented this cottage as a gathering spot for a long weekend reunion of young friends of ours and our daughter's and it was perfect for family meals (large kitchen, dining table for eight, and the coop and grocery a two minute walk). There was comfortable study nooks for everyone, plus five bedrooms, we could all be together or apart, play ping pong in the basement or sit in the chairs in the sun (we didn't jacuzzi, but there is one). It is a perfect place for friends and family to gather and be together and apart as needed and to enjoy preparing and eating family meals together in a location that makes access to hikes, stores, downtown Middlebury and the campus simple.

We love hearing when our home provides a haven for family/friend time. Thanks for bringing great energy to our space!!
My family and I (6 adults/teens and a French Bulldog) stayed at the property for a long weekend. It was the perfect location; close in proximity to restaurants, shops, a grocery store, and the hockey rink (we were there for a hockey tournament). The house was very spacious, well stocked, clean, and well maintained. Lisa was a fantastic host. She was very responsive and attentive. We had a last-minute change to the size of our party, and she graciously accommodated. I would definitely recommend this property for anybody looking in the area.
Our party of six adults came to Vermont for the 4/8/24 eclipse and were fortunate to make this lovely cottage our home for three nights.
We have stayed at various rentals over the years and all agree: Midd Cottage is, by far, the very best place we have ever stayed!
The front door opens to an expansive, light-filled main floor with a huge comfortable couch, a dining room that seats 8, and a well-stocked kitchen with high-quality utensils for real cooking! The bedrooms (5!) are bright, airy and comfortable.
Every detail has been attended to: fluffy towels in abundance, yoga mats in each room, REAL plants throughout the house, and a welcome basket with local treats! All you have to do is unpack and relax! Downtown Middlebury is within a quick walk and there is much to see!
Lisa is a warm and gracious host. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Don't think twice: just book it!!

About the host
Hosted by Lisa Mirman
We spend our time between Middlebury and Sarasota. The Middlebury Cottage is our cherished family home where we can all soak up the wonders of the Vermont farm food culture, readily access the spectacular Green Mountain hiking and ski trails, and relish in the vibrancy of Middlebury College and the picturesque Main Street decorated by Otter Creek Falls.
Our connection to the area goes back to the 70s when Lee attended summer camp on Lake Dunmore, and has grown exponentially since Lisa and Lee married in Vermont, and then both of their children attended Songadeewin and Keewaydin as well.
