The property irl looks better than in the pictures! House is really amazing, with local vibe, and beautiful views! Very well equipped, Wi-Fi works perfectly, really good location.
We absolutely loved our stay. I look forward to visiting again. Great views and very responsive owner and manager. Friendly neighborhood and wonderful relaxing areas to re-charge. Thank you for everything.
The location is fantastic and the 180 degree views from the lanai are unbeatable. The lower level Ohana is wonderfully spacious and easy to work remotely from and stay long-term. Highly recommend.
The place was just what we needed. It’s right by the beach and Ted’s bakery is down the street so everybody loved it. Nothing feels crammed and it is super spaced out. It was also very clean upon arrival. Perfect little tree house spot. Highly recommend!
We loved this property for our family! The place was super clean upon arrival and spacious for our family of 4. We were gone most of the days surfing but tried to make it back for sunsets because the views are amazing. Morning coffee on the lanai was so refreshing and the house had everything we needed to cook meals. The outside shower is the best when coming home from a long day at the beach. Host was easy to communicate with. The kids loved having Ted’s bakery at the end of the road. One thing to note… the upstairs is a rental as well and we could hear footsteps but the family was respectful and went to bed early so it didn’t bother us much.
A beautiful and comfortable place on the North Shore of Oahu
The property was exactly as described, clean, modern and well-appointed. As long as the prevailing trade winds were blowing, it stayed cool and comfortable both at night and during the day. When the wind direction changed, we depended more on the fans provided.
We found it very central to exploring the entire North Share area, with all the attractions within easy driving distance. There an be a lot of traffic on the 2 lane highway, but you just have to stay patient.
The property manager Jon was very friendly and helpful, and lives locally so can turn up if needed in just a few minutes.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
We were never able to enjoy this property because the host decided to use it and cancel our reservation nearly a month after booking, leaving little to no time or availability to find anything else. Vrbo and parent company Expedia don’t communicate well and Expedia could never fully cancel the booking in their system so now we get a chance to review. The host also didn't block out their calendar despite canceling on us which allowed us or anyone else to book again, which we did, so they actually canceled on us twice. Expedia could only refer us to Vrbo who was ultimately unable to help us rebook even after doubling the amount we paid to try to find something else. Zero stars for all involved.
This accomodation is simply perfect for your North Shore vacation. We (familiy of three) stayed in this beautiful place for almost three weeks and we could not have been happier. Situated close to Teds Bakery, this accommodation is just a 5 minute walk away from sunset beach. The (ocean)view from the balkony (as well as the view from the inside of the appartment) is simply stunning! If you don't want to use your car, you can always take the provided bikes and explore the stretch from sunset beach to sharks cove on the bike path.
The check-in went very smoothly. We arrived late at night and were greeted with the lights already turned on and the fold-out couch/bed in the living room already prepared for the night.
We cannot wait to come back!
Gorgeous
The 180 degree view is amazing. The noises of the crashing Ocean and bird life is absolutely fabulous. The property has great ventilation and screens on every window!
The space is very clean and comfortable.
It is a two story home and the rental I had was downstairs. Part of the trip I shared the property with people upstairs and it changed the vacation feel of the place. At one point there were five people upstairs and three cars. Being downstairs means you have someone over you inside and outside the deck area. I would caution renting this lower unit if you want complete privacy or quiet. The owner was very accommodating when the upper unit quest made a ton of noise leaving at 6:45am. Zero complaints about the management or the property owner.
I personally would not stay here again if someone was upstairs. I come to the North Shore one or twice a year for privacy and quiet. Those are my personal needs on my Hawaiian vacation and I stay away from tourist areas.
