Our family of eight adults enjoyed our gathering at Georgia’s Place. The house was very clean. The woodsy surrounding is pretty and relaxing. The cozy fire pit is well-appointed. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with pots, pans, bowls, dishes, & flatware. There is convenient overflow parking right near the house - 4 vehicles are allowed in the driveway. We spent a lot of wonderful time on the water in a boat rental, on the spacious & well-furnished decks of the house, & around the fire pit. The birding is great! Be aware that the lake really can’t be seen from the house & fire pit with the thick, leafy woods. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the setting. A starter set of: soap bars, one small roll of thin paper towels, one-ply toilet paper, one dishwasher packet, and two garbage bags per bathroom, & two kitchen garbage bags are provided to get you started. It would be nice to have liquid hand soap provided in the kitchen and bathrooms.Cons: the living room and dining areas are a fair amount smaller than they appear in the pictures. The small kitchen does not handle more than one person at a time very well - a challenge when cooking for a crowd. The grill is ok. We moved meat from the grill to pans on the stove to finish it off due to the weak or huge flames - no in between. The ice maker was non-functional during our stay.Marine rentals don’t allow boats to be docked at the house boat slip due to a low profile bridge at the entrance of the cove the house is on.
