Great cabin, with all the amenities. Also a great hot tub and our dogs felt very welcome!

Hi Thomas, thank you so much for your 5 star review. We are so glad you, your party and your dogs felt welcome and had a great stay. We strive for excellence in hospitality. Come again, Toby.
The property was absolutely beautiful!! Plenty of space for 4 couples! The back pario was our favorite hangout! And inside around the bar working on a puzzle - so many nice touches! We will definitely be back!!
If you are looking for a larger place your whole family can stay in that is both isolated but convenient to downtown Gatlinburg look no further! When you are in the cabin you think you are in the middle of nowhere but a quick 3 minute car ride and you are in Gatlinburg. The cabin was clean, spacious, well decorated and relaxing. We are hoping to return.

Thank you so much for your 5 star review Kevin. You described it exactly as we personally feel about it. We welcome you, your party and anyone you might recommend for a future stay. Thanks, Toby
The cabin was excellent. Location is great, close to town but far enough away to allow for a secluded vacation experience. The cabin was clean upon arrival. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware/dishware. Having a full size washer and dryer was a huge plus. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Hi Eric, thank you so much for your 5 star review. We are so glad you loved the cabin, the seclusion and the convenience. We strive for excellence in hospitality. Come again. 😀
Cabin was clean and appearance was as described. Would stay here again. Beds were comfortable, Internet was stable and fast enough to work remotely during our stay while also allowing the kids to smoothly play online games. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots/pans. We even had a bear come right up to the deck one evening. Only difficulty we had was the driveway is a bit steep and difficult to maneuver the first turn.
We very much enjoyed our stay. There was construction on the cabin next door that unexpectedly caused a brief power outage and a truck to be blocking the driveway trapping us in... however, the host was also unaware this was being done and quickly responded to my messages about it and luckily, it was a short-lived problem. We had some issues with the fridge not getting cold the first day, but that also resolved on its own by day 2. However the thermostat reflected that the cabin was at 74 degrees in the main portion of the house our entire stay. Adjusting the thermostat did not cool anything off. It was very hot outside the weekend we stayed (Aug 13-16) so a few of the bedrooms also got very warm. Overall though, the stay was great, the cabin is beautiful, and the host is very responsive. We would absolutely stay here again!

Hi Rachel,
Thank you for your positive review and for desiring to stay with us again. We are grateful your two issues were resolved right away. There is a build underway as the location is a very desirable area. The contractor has assured us he will do everything to keep our driveway clear. We did have extremely hot temps during your stay, along with guests checking out (doors open loading luggage) and this is why it took our units longer to cool down when you first arrived. We welcome you again, Toby.
Our family had a great time staying here for 5 days and 4 nights. Cabin was very spacious for our family to enjoy along with the outdoor amenities of having a hot tub, fire pit and grill.Would definitely consider staying here next year if we decide to vacation again in the Gatlinburg area.
Thank you so much Benita for your great review. We welcome you, your party or anyone you might recommend anytime. Thanks for choosing “Black Bears and Rockin’ Chairs.”
Beautiful home with plenty of room for the whole family. Great outdoor area. Lots of seating inside and out. Perfect location to feel private and enjoy the mountain area but also very close to downtown Gatlinburg with soooo much to do in the area. Home was clean and well equipped.
The property was beautiful! We really enjoyed the hot tub and covered deck in the evenings. The driveway was definitely tricky, but we figured it out with the directions given in the description.
I really enjoyed my time there. The cabin was beautiful and perfect size for my family. The location was great, very close to the Gatlinburg strip and Piegon Forge. A grocery store was only a few minutes away. Would definitely stay again.
