The Santa Fe cabin was absolutely perfect. The interior was gorgeous, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the hosts supplied fun breakfast and workout snacks. The property was stunning - nature and great property development/management. And last but not least, the owners/hosts were wonderful! Great communication throughout and helped with last minute planning. We can't wait for another stay .. but at least 2-3 days next time!
Excellent location for visiting Palo Duro Canyon and Canyon, TX. Very quiet and relaxing with beautiful big sky vistas. Cabin and property were well managed and maintained. Great host - everything worked as advertised.
This is a delightful property. Not only is it very close to Palo Duro Canyon state park, but it is thoughtfully planned with an open air pavillion with great views, engaging metal art, and a nice playground for families. It is very well maintained, and the management is promptly attentive to any needs. It was truly a wonderful place to stay.
Cute perfect little hacienda-style cabin. We only stayed 1 night but had we know It would be such a nice property/area we would have stayed longer. Sad Monkey brewery/store/restaurant was great for only needing dinner 1 night. Would definitely recommend this cabin!
Leave your problems and the world at the gate and enjoy solitude and scenic wonder. Beautiful property with everything you might need in your cabin, just bring your food and drink of choice.
The cabin was just perfect for my husband, me and teenage daughter. We were attending a wedding in a nearby town and this added a little vacation feel. Went to the state park and saw the musical. Easy access and location. So cute and clean! Definitely will stay again if ever out that way.
This place was fantastic! How often could you comfortably have lodging by the edge of a canyon? And stargazing is to die for. Wished we could’ve stayed longer. It was a spur of the moment trip stop. We felt safe and at peace here.
The home is well equipped, felt almost brand new, and the furniture are pretty comfortable.
The exterior landscaping and design that enhances the grandeur of the canyon and flats without intruding. Very comfortable outdoor seating and amenities to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings!
The very well-appointed cabin is clean and comfortable with rustic decor that is a perfect transition from the rugged outdoors.
TEN STARS!!!

Why they chose this property
Palo Duro Canyon State Park with it's Technicolor walls make for high-desert scenery more commonly seen in southern Utah. It offers more than 30-miles of hiking, mountain-biking and equestrian trails and an additional 1,500 acres set aside for horseback riding. You can bring your own horses so don’t hesitate to ask us about local boarding. Mountain bikers can experience the best single track in Texas and will enjoy the well maintained five trail heads networking for some 26-miles throughout the canyon ranging from "mild" to "wild" in technical ability - dirt, rocks, river rock, sand, wash-outs, switchbacks, drop-offs and climbs with alternative trail accesses throughout.
During the summer, enjoy a performance of the outdoor musical drama TEXAS. The play, nearing a half-century in its on-going production runs Tuesdays through Sundays, June through August, at the 1,700 seat Pioneer Amphitheater. Watch the stories, struggles and triumphs of early settlers. The family-friendly show has singing, dancing, fireworks and lots of Texas humor.
