Fully Furnished Craftsman Bungalow on a Large Private Lot
Charming craftsman style bungalow on a large private lot. We use the house when it is not rented, so it is comfortably furnished and very well equipped. House was built in 1913 by the original owners, and I am the second owner. There are many original details, home has not gone through any extensive remodels. There is no dishwasher.
House is very quiet and there is lots of outdoor space (but it is not fenced in). Property is listed as a two bedroom home; there is a third bed available in an attic loft which is accommodating, but has a low ceiling and is not connected to the main house heat source. If you plan to use the loft space, please inquire for more details to ensure your expectations will be met.
We've had a few comments that the beds are firm- which is the way we like them, but thought it would be good to call that out here to ensure your comfort; if it's pillow-top you're after then our home may not be the best choice for you. Happy to provide more details upon request.

Nice quiet location. The house is decorated eclectically and is quite charming. Its cozy but functional, with a nice big kitchen. Host was accommodating and quick to respond.
A very nice rustic house in a hidden valley in old Petaluma; like a cabin in Tahoe. Quiet, hidden, low tech, perfect if you really want to unplug from the world for a while.
Art meats history is this lovely home. A beautiful house with something to catch your eye everyplace you look. It is homey and very comfortable. The property is very large and private located in a very convenient neighborhood. The owners are quick to respond, great communicators, helpful and very friendly. This home provided a wonderful spot to regroup and settle in after a day of exploring and play. Simply the best.
This place was just what we needed for a great family stay. We utilized the attic space which was a nice add on even with the low ceiling. The electrical and heating are a little funky but the owner has detailed guidance to help make the stay as care free as possible.
The place is close to downtown yet also feels like you are out in the country, a great spot. Tim was a great host and helped make our stay very enjoyable over the holidays.
Lovely town for pottering around, super restaurants. Post Covid /time of year a lot were not open until later in the week but still good choices.
House is perfect, has everything and is so quaint . Loved the decor and can walk into the town . Tim left us a bottle of wine and some homemade jam, a lovely touch. I would highly recommend.
This property was perfect for us, within walking distance of restaurants, etc. The house is older but comes with more than you need for cooking, etc., and is decorated with a variety of woven and other arts and collectibles. The owners seem to care about the environment, which we do also. We enjoyed sitting outdoors under the redwood in the late afternoon (until the cool breeze chased us indoors).
We were thrilled to have the opportunity to stay in this charming, unique Petaluma bungalow. Classics like this are fewer and further between these days and if they do exist, they have often been renovated to the point of being generic. Tim's Bungalow has been lovingly maintained not by obliterating the original character but by lovingly and painstakingly making repairs that enhance character. The whole place has an excellent kintsugi vibe. Top that off with its fantastic central location and you have found yourself a sweet gem of a stay.
House is at the top of a hill up a lane. Property surrounded by numerous trees so you have a nice view from every window. A family of deer live in and around the property - a mother with two babies along with squirrels. There is easy access to downtown which is quaint and picturesque. Check out St Vincent DePaul church.
With regard to accommodation house is charming. The heating is funky and the bedrooms do need plug in heaters as bedrooms can get very cold at night. There are certain basic items that are missing so renters should take that that into account -no TV, hairdryer, coffee maker, wine glasses.
Nice get away and close to wineries and breweries and good restaurants.
This was a great house! We really enjoyed our stay and had no major problems. The way they have it decorated is just so adorable, eclectic, and stylish. It’s a very neat older house. They have very nice linens which made for a good nights sleep. They had flowers & wine for us upon arrival, and candy for our kids. Everything was clean and orderly, with extras of things as needed. We enjoyed the backyard- it is huge! Our kids especially enjoyed exploring in it and we ate a couple meals at the picnic table in the back. The front porch swing was enjoyable for us. We had planned to use the loft but ended up deciding not to since our kids are pretty young and it’s not exactly accessed from the main living area. To access the loft you have to unlock back door and go on the back porch, then up the stairs. If they were older, it would’ve been a great extra bed option. Communication was great with the owners. Really enjoyed Petaluma!
We fell in love with Tim's Petaluma home. The wonderful details of the craftsman bungalow have been lovingly preserved and enhanced with Tim's artistry and wonderful aesthetic touches. The home was clean, quiet and peaceful. Our two boys enjoyed running around in the huge backyard while my wife and I sat on the porch swing and watched the sun breaking through the morning fog. Tim left fresh flowers on the dining room table and easy instructions for checking in and out. We will definitely return. Thank you, Tim!
We enjoyed our stay so much! Our host was very gracious and quick to respond! The cabin has a great kitchen space with a gas stove and oven. The beds in both rooms were comfortable and the washer / dryer were a life saver! The property is spacious and in a great location. We were so fortunate to have found such a cozy, safe olace!
