Completely renovated from top to bottom in 2022! "We'll be back!" is what you'll say after you stay in this beautifully renovated top-floor villa, just perfect for your family or group of 5. Our guests tell us 536 Shorewood is second to none, and they love the location and the view!

The villa has a combined living and dining space that provides plenty of room for game or movie nights (we'll supply the popcorn!). You are sure to love the view of the ocean from there. Step through the patio doors in the living space to the balcony, where you can enjoy morning coffee prepared in your fully equipped kitchen or sip sweet tea or cocktails as you snack on munchies in the evening and take in the breathtaking views!

You will find everything you need for meal prep in the kitchen, and there is a laundry closet with a stacking washer and dryer for your convenience. Bedroom 1 has a comfy king bed and a full walk-in shower bath, ocean views, and access to the balcony. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a twin sleeper bed - perfect for the kids - and a full walk-in shower bath. The living area also has a queen sofabed, so there is no shortage of sleeping accommodations here!

The location and amenities in Shorewood are fantastic. Enjoy the zero-entry oceanfront pool (only heated in March and April), spa, baby pool for the kids, and the convenience of poolside restrooms. Maybe you prefer playing in the sand and splashing in the ocean. With 12 miles of pristine white sand, you have plenty of room for building sandcastles, working on your tan, or relaxing as you listen to the waves lapping along the shoreline.

Coligny Plaza is within walking or biking distance and offers dining, ice cream, shopping, a grocery store, and more. The whole family will enjoy Lowcountry Celebration Park, also nearby. The wife and I went to HH for the first time and we could not have picked a better place. Great location. Walking distance to “downtown” but totally quiet at night. We both sleep great, which we needed. Will recommend to free and family!

Amazing Views

I have stayed in so many places in Hilton Head and this one was by far my favorite. It has been professionally decorated --and is lovely on the inside. The deck and the views of the ocean were incredible. Location was perfect. Very close to so many restaurants -but yet had a very private beach area out front --which is key on a Holiday week. Beautiful resort type pool and hottub. Just a wonderful stay ---thanks to the owner and the management company for a WONDERFUL STAY.

HH Family Vacay!

Stayed at this property with my family. Property was accurately described in the posting and comfortable for my family of five. We are returning visitors to this condo and we absolutely love it. Our kids are 2 and 4 and slept great in the guest bedroom, no fuss! Private walk out to the beach, only a quarter mile from Coligny! Mark is super easy to communicate with & very responsive. Check in is all virtual which is so nice to not have to stop anywhere prior to arrival. 10/10

Fabulous get-away location!

What a wonderful few days we had visiting! The home is lovely, and the owners thought of everything needed to create a relaxing retreat. The community opened the pool during our stay (first Monday in March), and we enjoyed a brief visit there on our return from the beach one day. Access for the beach is so convenient, and having the pool house available was also appreciated. This is a small and lovely community allowing for rest and relaxation! Our time on the balcony was perfect - sunrises to the left - and thoroughly enjoyed. We hope to return one day!!

Wonderful spacious ocean view condo

From check in to check out, everything about this condo was perfect. The view overlooking the pool/grounds to the ocean was lovely and relaxing. Very clean, professionally decorated, comfortable beds, linens, towels. Kitchen has anything you need to cook, although we only used it for breakfast. There are beach towels and chairs in the unit. Walking distance to Coligny plaza with lots of live music, shops and restaurants within 5 mins. Having such close access to the pool (perfect for kids) and the beach was key. We plan to return again to this lovely condo and bring our family. And Hilton Head, in general, was a fabulous place to vacation. Cant wait to return! Thank you

Gorgeous Clean Condo with Amazing views

The condo was perfect and had everything we needed! Most importantly, this place was CLEAN! Loved the choice of eco-friendly, non chemical soaps, cleaners, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked, there were plenty of beach chairs, toys and games. Beds were very comfortable. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was great and the provided laundry pods were much appreciated.The welcome gifts were a sweet unexpected gesture! The view here is breathtaking! Loved being able to look out over the pool and grounds straight to the ocean! We spent a lot of time on the balcony! We had a great time spending Thanksgiving break on the island. So glad we chose Shorewood and this unit!

The amenities at Shorewood were absolutely perfect for my two young children (ages 2 and 5) - they especially loved the kiddie pool and water fountain in the larger pool. The pull out sofa worked great for my 5 year old, I'm not sure how comfortable it would be for a full grown adult.My only tip for the owner would be to get a stool for the guest bathroom, the sinks were too high for my children to reach so that would help out quite a bit.

Hilton Head May 2023

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about this listing & the Shorewood property. We have two small children ages 1 & 3. I loved that the condo was one level, not having to worry about stairs is nice. The kids slept great in the 2nd bedroom & the trundle was perfect for our 3yr old to sleep in. They had their own bathroom & the sink was plenty big enough to do a quick sink bath with the baby. Our washer/dryer did go out & started leaking but Host2Coast was very easy to communicate with & sent someone out right away. We even got a welcome bag with koozies, beach bag, cookies etc. Check in couldn’t be easier. Didn’t have to make an additional stop at an off site office building to pick up parking passes, etc. You could also access all of your property info off their mobile app. The pool was SO nice, zero grade entry, spa & kiddie pool. They had a private walk out to the beach - also great with young kids & nap times. It also helped avoid a lot of traffic on the way to the public beach, which is only a quarter mile walk if that to Coligny Plaza & the park. We will definitely be staying again! We come to HHI every year & this has been our favorite listing we’ve stayed. Thank you!

The good, no so good and ugly

The GOOD: very good location, nice ocean view, lots of good documentation about things to do, initial lay in of paper products and cleaning supplies was good. All kitchen appliances worked well, beds are very good and comfortable. The NOT SO GOOD: might be a little cramped for two couples on a two week stay, thermostat could not be programmed or manually controlled, vacuum wouldn't pick up a dust bunny, no tongs in kitchen which made it miserable for our retired culinary expert, very short on glassware (only two tall glass glasses and a few worn plastic glasses), no real coffee mugs (just 7 tea cups with chips), very short on hangers. Would suggest that if you are less than 6'2" that you bring a step stool for the bathrooms. Large above counter sinks on the tall vanities make them awkward to use. The UGLY: The pool was closed for our entire stay but was advertised as being open for our second week. The hot tub was closed for most of our stay even though advertised as open for our entire stay. The availably of these was key in making our decision to book this unit. When we talked to the pool guy he said it should have been open but was the result of start delays by the contractor who was making the repairs and should have been started much earlier in the season. Many other things were not mentioned when we booked the unit. Door and window replacement, building painting and garage closure were a few. The Host 2 Coast management company never managed to tell us either.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at 536 Shorewood. The unit was clean and the amenities were great! We absolutely loved the addition of new patio furniture from last year - our whole family was able to use the balcony. Our only complaint was the washer and dryer. We were able to run two loads throughout the week that each came out smelling moldy. The washing machine broke the morning of our last day so we had to come home with tons of laundry that we didn’t plan on.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was even better than we expected! The location was perfect, right on the beach, within walking distance to Coligny Plaza and close to Sea Pines. The unit was clean, fully stocked with all the necessities and more, beautifully decorated and a great size. The pool was very nice, and the view of the pool & beach from the balcony was fabulous!! Host to Coast had a sweet gift bag filled with goodies and a personalized card waiting for us when we arrived. Worth every penny. We will definitely be back!

It had everything we could possibly need, was spotless, and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed a spectacular view.
