Cahuita is a village on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast. This home is located in Ciudad Pérdida. It is a 10 minute walk to Cahuita’s National Park, which is full of adventure housing different species of animals; sloths, toucans, turtles and more. The beaches are beautiful.. the white-sand beach of Playa Blanca has coral reefs. The black-sand beach of Cahuita’s Playa Negra, is north of the village and it is within walking distance. Experience fishing, canoeing, boating, diving, and many other water sporting activities. Listen to the Congos while they travel throughout the area. Further north, is the Sloth Sanctuary caring for injured and orphaned sloths. Cahuita’s center is also a 10 minute walk. The bus station, Mepe, is a 10 minute walk to the house. You can travel to nearby towns lsuch as Puero Viejo and more.

Great house, good amenities, spacious rooms, two whole bathrooms. Kitchen has all you need for cooking, spacious dinning table and living room. Quiet, very near to Cahuita main street (about 600m away, a walkable distance). Overall great place to stay and enjoy Cahuita.

Good getaway house

This is a good place for a getaway week with friends. It’s a 3 bdrm. Tico house with a well equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. The host was very responsive when the town water was shut down and had a handyman on site. It has air conditioning in the living room, but not the bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay.

It is nice appartment in Cahuita with a lot of space and and lot of amenities. The biggest con is the cleanliness of the property. The was a really bad smell in the kitchen and the floor was not clean.

It’s a cute tico house. Off the Main Street in Cahuita. Really, a 5 mins walk to Cahuita National park, or to all restaurants/supermarkets. 15 mins walk to playa Negra. The house surrounded by big trees, we woke up with howlers monkeys. There is a patio with a bar table where we enjoyed our morning coffee, while been visited by agutí. House has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (which is very convenient for a family of 5). Beds has new firm mattresses, good quality pillows, there were enough towels for everyone. There is a ceiling fan with the remote in each bedroom. House provides spacious living room with AC and smart TV. There was also everything we needed for our vacation stay in the kitchen. The host was always available to help up with our needs. When the municipality shut off the water, she immediately sent a technician to open the water tank for us, or brought a new coffeemaker when the one we used got broken. It was a very pleasant stay! Highly recommended!

The house is located in a very quiet setting surrounded by nature. What I love the most about the house is that it is very peaceful and you are able to have a peaceful time. Just the sound of howling monkeys. Yest is ia ten minute walkcto everything starting with the white sanded beach and the national park.

What makes this property unique

Many tourists visit cahuita. There are lots of cabins. What makes this house different is the privacy. The peaceful environment when it is time to relax and listen to nature.
