This cabin is amazing! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook as well as extra's such as spices, salt and pepper, coffee and filters, foil and zip lock bags, etc. Additionally, there was plenty of paper products and cleaning products. This cabin is exactly as listed and more. We loved our stay here and hope to be back some day.
We had the most wonderful time at The Hawks Nest in Townsend. The accommodations were absolutely perfect for our large group. The cabin was beautifully furnished and equipped with anything you might possibly need. We will definitely be back for another stay. Thank you for opening up your beautiful home for guests.
We spent 10 days at this beautiful log cabin. My sister and I hated to leave. Everything was very clean and the beds slept like a dream. This is a cabin your whole family will enjoy. Will rent this one again.
This was perfect for our family and we loved the location! It was close to the Park, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge but not congested at all. Very peaceful and easy. We will definitely be back!
Cabin was beautiful, clean and well stocked. We are so happy we chose a large cabin over hotel rooms. We got to visit, enjoy down time together, cook together. Highly recommend it!
Hawk's Nest is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location and was perfect for a long due family reunion. We have friends and family in the Cades Cove area so we're connected to this area and have been travelling here for decades. Hawk's Nest is without a doubt

Thanks Scott for your great review. Hawk's Nest is a hidden gem with its close proximity to Cades Cove and the National Park. I hope you will be able to stay here again soon - Jon.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Hawks Nest. It was clean, cozy, and more than we expected. It worked out that the three of us had our own 'penthouse', a floor to ourselves each night! Each floor and bedroom were great. We wanted 'cozy and we got it. They had all the amenities we needed and plenty of privacy. Hot tub was fabulous. We highly recommend for 3 or multiple people!
It was the perfect setting. Quiet, serene. There were eight of us, and there was plenty of room for us. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the cabin was SO clean, even under the beds! We definitely want to rent this cabin again.
The cabin was just as the pictures showed. It was beautiful and equipped with everything that you needed for a home from home experience. It was very clean and spacious and the location was perfect. The drive up to the cabin was great. Not too steep and windy. That was a huge plus for me.
We had the best time visiting Cades Cove, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Ober Mountain.
Definitely would book again.
Me and my family loved the cabin. Its immacualte. The views are amazing. We saw 3 different bears!! Everything is clean and works as as expected. The hot tub is fun and so is the pool table.
Had a great time the whole week, we did have one bear come up to the porch then left.
The house was awesome and great for the kids. Everything was clean and worked properly including the hot tub. Only had two issues one was the Wi-Fi it barely worked and second was no one ever came to empty the trash cans outside the whole week we were there and everything was overloaded

Thanks for letting us know about the trash pickup issue. Although there is not a trash pickup service available at the cabin, we do provide dumpsters at our office for any trash that does not fit in the trash cans outside. We will also be happy to come pick up any extra trash if our guests are not able to bring it to our dumpsters. We will do a better job of making sure future guests know about these options by including them in the check in instructions that we provide to our guests before their arrival. Thanks again for making us aware of this issue.
The property is a top quality mountain home away from home. All of the furnishings are very comfortable yet higher end quality.
We loved our master ensuite. The walk-in closet had a lot of room to keep things out of sight.
Bear sightings on the winding mountain roads were frequent. Our grandkids loved the bear cubs playing in the road.
When you are in mountainous area, the intetnet is spotty at best. TV's were great.
Our overall view of the Hawks Nest is spectacular. Thank you for the fun.
The four-bedroom three-bathroom cabin is spacious and very well-appointed. Nestled in an oak and pine forest, there is no view of a mountain slope. Maintenance staff is very responsive even though we had a bit of bad luck with a smoke alarm battery fail, chirping every minute and too high to reach, but staff addressed it within 90 minutes. The almost-new state-of-the-art "smart" dishwasher malfunctioned, and staff failed to repair it but arrived within an hour of our call to analyze it and an appliance specialist arrived the next day to determine what part needed to be ordered, and office staff insisted that we leave the dirty dishes at check out. Great hot tub experience. We had three small families, and the three levels worked out perfectly for us. Some construction in the area may have limited wildlife visits, but we still viewed five bears in the park. This is my fifth week-long rental in the Smokies, and near Townsend is definitely my preferred choice. Great, great experience in this cabin
We loved staying in this property for so many reasons. Lots of usable space for our family - we had tons of options for playing games, relaxing, and gathering indoors and outdoors. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking at home, including glass storage containers for leftovers. The host also has a good collection of books about the area, including hikes, wildlife, and history. The location could not be better for all of the sites we wanted to explore: very close to the entrance for Cades Cove, 15 minutes from Tuckalechee Caverns, and 5 minutes to Townsend grocery/gas/restaurant options. 5 minutes to both the Townsend Visitor Center and the Smokies Visitor Center, both worth stopping into for maps and advice. The property manager was attentive and responsive. When we couldn't find wine glasses, he delivered them! Really cozy, convenient, well stocked rental property.
We had 7 adults over 30 (3 couples and one single) and two children under 2 years old. The space worked well for the entire family. Several in the group participated in the Great Smokies National Park run that started/finished in Townsend. Cabin was a great location for participating in the runs.
