The good, beds were comfortable, water pressure was great.The bad, shower heads are too short, no towels or bath mats in the washrooms, we had to search for them, tv in bedroom had no remote, when we found it there were no batteries. Lacks staples in kitchen. The ugly, the pool area was not what was advertised on line to the point of saying they should remove those photos.

My sister and I stayed a long weekend when we completed a spartan race. She had her 3 small children and her husband, our other brother also came as well as my daughter. There was plenty of space and the items available were just what we needed for our stay. It was easy to get to and within 20 minutes of everything we wanted to do.

The perfect home for your stay located in a quiet neighborhood with stores and restaurants just around the corner. The bbq outside and all the kitchen appliances was exactly what we needed for our stay. They provided everything. The house was spotless clean and well decorated. My family and I will definitely be back.

The host was very very quick in her communication. She was very flexible and check in times and accommodating for our family. The beds as listed weren't in the condition or size that we expected. The twin and singles were essentially a cot Is not a bed frame in mattress. Overall the property was very clean and very accommodating.

Not Quite As Listed but Nice

Overall it was nice, but the listing needs to be corrected.1) Location is not in Green Valley or Gibson Springs. I got this rental because I thought it was close to another family member's rental - not the case. It is east of Highway 11 near Water St in the older section of Henderson. You can walk to several great restaurants on Water St2) As another reviewer mentioned, the bed count is not correct. Each bedroom has a comfortable queen size mattress. One bedroom also has a comfortable bunk bed. I didn't see a futon. There are some crickety cots and some air mattresses.3) Kitchen and living/dining area is nice and large. Though the living room doesn't have a window so its kinda dark.4) Ping pong table is fun but there was only one paddle. The owner promptly brought out 2 new paddles.5)There are no towel racks or bath mats in the bathroom. Owner was going to have them installed after we left.6) Backyard, pool, tables, BBQ seemed nice though it was too cool & rainy (weird huh?) for us to use them. Overall, it meant our needs and was nice enough. It was very clean and the owner is very responsive.

The details make a difference when traveling with family. This is an older home in downtown Henderson, not in Green Valley as the map leads you to believe, so that little detail about the location was very disappointing for me. I wanted to be closer to other family members who were also in town and staying in Green Valley. The house is in a quiet neighborhood close to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. The check-in process was quick and easy, and check out process was very simple. The house itself is simply decorated with lots of beds to choose from. The only room with carpet was the master bedroom and it was in dire need of a good shampooing…again it’s the small details that matter to me. The pool was very clean and my family had fun using it. The pictures of the pool on the listing did not match the actual pool since the decking was removed. I was looking forward to lounging on the deck only to find out when I arrived that there wasn’t a deck. I would suggest an update to the photos of the backyard so that any future guests aren’t surprised like I was. I didn’t get a chance to use the grill since the handle was missing a screw and I also couldn’t get the gas to turn on. Again it’s the small details like this that make a difference. Overall it was a good stay, the house just needs a little TLC for things like the dirty carpet, the grill, other items throughout the house like making sure the ceiling fans operate properly, air vents aren’t covered in dust, etc.

We had a party of 12. There are two futons listed for the living room. That was not correct. There were only couches and they did not fold out. One of our people slept on the couch and two more had to sleep on very rickety folded cots. We had to place blankets under the sheets to keep from feeling the springs. The beds were not plush as advertized. The pictures on the description are not accurate. The decorations are nice but not what is listed. The pool does not have a nice deck like the picture shows. There was a foul smell in the home that smelled like sewer sometimes. The owner responded to our request to clean the pool nicely, but due to the extreme heat, we decided not to use the pool as it was too hot and would not have been refreshing. This is not a rental for seniors. There are no grab bars or non slip mats in the tubs. In fact there were no bath mats at all. There was plenty of room. for our large party but the bed situation was not acceptable or as listed.

Terrific Experience

I was a bit nervous to rent a VBRO and invite my eight local family members over for Thanksgiving dinner. But it turned out to be a great decision! The place easily accommodated the feast. After dinner my family found several great "backgrounds" in the house for family pictures. I think the large brick fireplace was my favorite. My wife and I brought our two dogs with us for the trip and stayed for 4 days. Were hoping to come back and stay longer. Everything was clean and stylish. All appliances work and are relatively new. Its conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, and a great dog park. Henderson's newly renovated downtown Water Street District is less than a mile away, and has several restaurants and casinos. I had a similar experience as several of the other reviewers with regard to the property owner. Odelya was clearly interested in making our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. From the reservation process to final checkout, Odelya was attentive and accommodating.
