We would like to clarify important facts regarding this review. Victoria was at the property for only a few hours. Before arrival, we accommodated her request for an early 12:00 PM check-in. Shortly after check-in, it became clear that this was not going to be a good fit. Rather than continue hosting a guest who was already highly dissatisfied, we asked Victoria to cancel the reservation and provided a full refund so she could relocate. Her statement regarding the pool-heating fee does not reflect the documented Vrbo communication. The fee was clearly disclosed to her in writing through the Vrbo message thread on September 5 at 8:39 AM, several days before check-in. The exterior camera was also not hidden or undisclosed. It is clearly disclosed in our Vrbo listing and is part of the exterior security and monitoring setup for our licensed short-term rental. There are no cameras inside the home or in any private interior area. We also strongly disagree with the characterization of the property’s condition. We take cleanliness and maintenance seriously and maintain the home for our guests. Victoria spent only a few hours at the property. Once it was clear she was deeply dissatisfied and the stay would not be positive for either side, we chose to end it rather than continue hosting under those circumstances. We stand behind our property, our listing, and our service, and the Vrbo message history documents the communication before and during this reservation.

Hi Marina, We are disappointed from your 2 stars review, especially when you asked to extend your stay and we did all we can to make you satisfied. We ordered more kitchen tools when you asked and you got it within 1 hour. We offered to send maintenance immediately when you complained about noise from the AC unit (we did not find any noise). You complained about not having a blender even though we did not say we have one on property. Lastly, not having an exhaust fan is not an issue, you could have opened the window for ventilation as well. Thank you.

We're sorry you felt that way about our property, especially after we insisted on confirming the rules of the property are agreed upon by you and your party BEFORE you booked. As we have stated many times in personal conversation, we operate legally under the closely regulated rules of the city of Henderson. We understand your group didn't feel comfortable due to not being able to use the outdoor spa after 10 pm, however, we cannot afford to risk our license by bending the rules that are enforced upon us as property owners. Regarding the refund, you did not change the booking itself which therefore made the property remain unavailable for other bookings, making it impossible for us to refund you for the stay. Overall, we do our absolute best to ensure our guests feel safe and enjoy their stay in our property while also abiding by the rules we state clearly before booking which allow us to continue to operate and provide these experiences for visitors.

We wanted to share a quick update: since your stay, we’ve replaced the bath towels and resolved the drain issue in the primary bathroom. As noted, the home is a two story property, and with that does come stairs throughout- we always want guests to be aware of that in case mobility is a consideration.
