Overall, it’s a great cabin in a good location. They had everything we needed during our stay and I liked being able to text the property manager. We were even offered to come a day earlier! The only thing I would consider upgrading is the internet. It was pretty bad. Had better service just using cellular.
We really enjoyed our stay during Thanksgiving at White Tail Hollow. The cabin was very clean, had all the extra amenities including the hot tub on the deck, which was very nice on the cold evenings. The beds were nice and cozy, which is a must on vacation! We will definitely be back!
The cabin was very nice and remote. The upstairs bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was welled stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub and seeing all the stars. We experienced snow, rain, clouds and sun in the short 3 night stay. Great communication with the booking agency.
Absolutely lovely cabin- very clean & comfortable- Inside and outside on the deck. If you want to stay way out where it's quiet and don't mind steep gravel driveways, this is the cabin for you :)
The cabin was exactly the way it was described, but also had lots of extras. Like all of the tools you would need for the kitchen and the grill plus a wonderful guest book full of information and ideas. Everything was perfect
Really enjoyed the cabin. It had everything we needed to cook which has been rare when renting a home.
The only issue is that the wifi information that was emailed to me and that is in the welcome book is incorrect.
After searching the home, I was able to locate the router and there was a post-it note next to it with instructions.
Will definitely rent again when I return to the area.
This was a beautiful cabin tucked away in the mountains. The cabin was very clean with good ammenities, including whole house air conditioning. Overall, the cabin was a bit smaller than it appeared to be in the photos, but it is plenty big enoughfor 4 people. We only used the main bedroom but found it to be very roomy with a comfy bed and lots of storage. There is a walk in closet, but you will have to bring your own hangers.
Standard communication was great, however, if you have questions, it can take several hours to get a reply and they dont necessarily answer the questions being asked. The one major communication hiccup we had was they never sent the lock codes to us. I was paying attention to this on the way down and tried texting them during business hours but did not get a response. I finally called and used the phone tree option for after hours and got a very nice person on the phone who was abke to get the lock codes for me. Thankfully, I did this while still travelling when I had good phone reception. If we had waited until we got there, I don’t think I would have had good enough reception to make the call.
The cabin has wifi, but it is not good enough for streaming shows to a Roku or anything like that, but it is adequate to keep your phones in good communication with the outside world.
Beware, the driveway is very steep and there really isn't room to turn around at the bottom.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again.
Overall, excellent stay in a very nice, clean, well equipped cabin in the woods. Kids loved the hot tube and Wii. Parents enjoyed the outside fire pit and quiet deck. Dogs loved everything because they’re dogs haha! My only criticism is not with the place itself but with the property mgmt company. When we arrived Saturday evening I was greeted by a nice welcome text. I responded asking if it was a person or bot and I got a person to respond. I asked if we could get the inside gas fireplace turned on and they said it was off because of the season. It was the first cold front of the year and we wanted to be able have a fire inside. Understandable that it was late Saturday evening and I did not expect someone to come out then but maybe the next day. They should have this operational, it’s October in the mountains. The next day I asked again and discover the satellite service for the upstairs tv was not functional. No response. Monday morning I asked again. A gentleman came out but was unable to get the fireplace working, he said he would have to check with his boss and left. We never saw or heard from anyone again. 2 minor things that should have been noticed prior to our arrival and taken care of in reasonable time. I give 4 stars for the property management company’s weak customer service but the property is 5 stars and I would stay there again.
