So glad you had a good stay! Look forward to your return.
The owner personally welcomed us at the property, gave us a tour, and made sure every question was answered. The house was absolutely spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything exceeded our expectations. The neighbors were warm and friendly, and the charming town was just a short walk away, with great restaurants, lively bars, and the amazing Bridge Café. I can’t recommend this property highly enough for anyone looking to stay in Frenchtown!

The house was so charming and had everything you made need plus. It was so close to town and to walking trails. We enjoyed it so much it was hard to have to go home.
We had a delightful weekend in Frenchtown. Our communication with Scott was great and easy. The house is very cozy and the location is perfect. We will definitely go back.
Margaret and Scott are great hosts and have made everything easy, clean, comfortable and beautiful, both indoor and outdoor. I loved the outdoor shower!Frenchtown is quaint town with everything you need, great restaurants, art shops and ice cream after walking the canal path. While visiting family nearby i hope to return again
We loved the space! It was well appointed, clean, cozy and perfect for our weekend. We love Frenchtown, having family in the area we have visited often. Being there for my mother in law’s celebration of life was a relaxing comfortable spot for our family to stay. Being able to walk to Napoli was a guilty pleasure! Recommending it to others!
My family, including a teenager and 3 young adults, stayed in this charming home while we were there for a wedding. We loved the location. It was very walkable and just a block from downtown and the biking/hiking path. The decor and collection of old and new games was so much fun as well.

We wanted to use the river tail system to see cool town like French Town and New Hope. The trails were awesome the towns were cool and the house was very nice and perfectly located!!
Margaret and Scott were lovely hosts. The property is super clean and cozy. Plenty of space for a group. We stayed here for a friends wedding and were able to walk into town to the welcome drinks event. We’re so happy we were able to book this property. Highly recommend!
The house is spotless, beautifully restored, thoughtfully appointed, and conveniently located. There are beds for many to sleep comfortably, as well as ample dining and hang-out space. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated with lovely modern tiles, fixtures and appliances, and anything a person could reasonably need is easily findable. The area is quiet and walkable to restaurants, etc.
Thank you for a perfect stay!

Thanks, Jill. Hope you can visit Frenchtown again!
This house is one of the nicest places we have stayed. Well furnished and arty decorations. New bathrooms and spacious well equipped kitchen and dining area, this was the perfect spot for our family to gather for Father's Day weekend. The weather was pretty b ad, but the house was full of fantastic games and art activities that we enjoyed ourselves a lot. Very comfortable seating arrangements n the living room, a pleasant front porch to sit and enjoy the passers by and of course, the delightfully fun downtown of Frenchtown. Voted the verst small town in America ( a bit boastful) great restaurants, especially Finbar, fun shops

So glad you enjoyed your stay in our home in Frenchtown. And loved that you made the best of the bad weather with games and creative projects! Hope you visit again.
Owner met us and showed the property. Anything we needed was included. It was like staying at a friend's house, but wihout the friend. The game closet brought us back to childhood. The arwork was fabulously eclectic. Highly recommend!!!
This home has great history and there’s an artistic flair in every piece of furniture and decor. It’s a short walk to a park with a trail along a waterway, with cool shops and eateries right around the corner. The beds and showers are perfect for a restful stay. There are plenty of places in the home for everyone to find a quiet spot as well as comfortable gathering areas.

About the host
Hosted by Scott Deter
We have lived in Frenchtown for over 20 years, and love this town, the river, and this circa 1880's house.
Why they chose this property
This home is historic, quirky, and comfortable. It's walking distance from the Delaware River, downtown shops and restaurants, and Artyard, as well as public parks and hiking trails, and the popular bike path that runs from Frenchtown to Trenton, NJ. Winters here are cozy and quiet, spring is bursting with color, summers are filled with river fun, and autumn in Frenchtown is bustling with activity and awash in seasonal hues.
What makes this property unique
Parking is a premium in Frenchtown -- we have three off-street parking spots, accessible from an alley directly behind the house. We also have an outdoor shower -- those who know, know ; )
