Charming cabin with cozy vibes and full stocked for perfect home away from home experience. The beauty of the surroundings and the feeling of seclusion was much needed for this quick fall break trip. Great Getaway, welcoming Home, Great View

We had a great time, the house was very well equipped and had a well stocked kitchen. We loved our time there and in particular enjoyed the Large wall mounted Scrabble board.My advice... book it!

River Mist Christmas trip

We visited River Mist with our 2 older kids. Great house and great spot! Took a minute to figure out the heat and the fireplace but after that we were set. Fire, hot tub, games, and a fully stocked kitchen that made it easy to make a few meals. We’ll definitely be back!

Relaxing with amazing views

We came in late due to traffic and this was not a problem. Easy access and having everything ready was a stress reliever. Our family (to include our sweet pup) enjoyed this property very much. The sight lines and sounds from the river, to the multiple options on the surrounding deck was amazing. We had a wonderful time.

A River's Mist will be on repeat for us!

We had a great time staying at A River's Mist. The cabin is cozy. It is well decorated, stocked with items you may need and even some that are perks that are unexpected. The property is on the river and it was wonderful to hear the water rush over the rapids. Beautiful. A large deck to hangout and enjoy that view. Gas fireplace inside and a fire pit outside which we enjoyed both. We loved the large wall Scrabble game and had foosball competitions. We went hiking about 25 minutes away and had dinner both nights in Boone about 20-25 minutes away. We will certainly be returning to A River's Mist for another stay!

We had a very relaxing weekend at the cabin. The cabin interior is beautiful and the kitchen is very well stocked. The views and sounds of the river were great, we even saw an eagle fly past. We did not get to use the hotbtub since it had not been cleaned but did enjoy making a fire in the very nice fire pit.
