About this property

St. Pete Tiny House: Safe, close to beaches, downtown!

Cozy, clean, and safe studio tinyhouse that's centrally located within 10 minutes to many amazing beaches, downtown St. Pete, St. Pete Pier, Salvador Dali Museum, Sunken Gardens, grocery stores, and many highlights!

This guesthouse is a small 287 sq ft. tiny house with a queen-size memory foam bed, bathroom, and kitchenette with 1 free parking space available on the property. Bathroom has a standing shower and toilet with shared sink in the kitchenette located right outside. Home is equipped with remote-controlled A/C, Wifi, TV, Keurig, mid-size fridge, portable electric stovetop, and microwave. Patio sliding glass door equipped with lock and key, with keys located in a digital lockbox. External security cameras on site. No cameras indoors. Neighborhood is very friendly and safe!

Quite enjoyment and consideration of neighbors: this unit is located behind an adjacent and detached main house. We kindly ask for your consideration of other families on the property. There is a 6 foot privacy fence separating the adjacent units on the property.

One parking space is available by alley access and located next to the tinyhouse. Tinyhouse is conveniently accessed by the alley as well. Keys are located in a digital lockbox for flexible check-in.

Bed is a comfortable queen-sized memory foam mattress. Please be aware that the area with the queen bed is cozy but tight and does not have walking space on all sides of the bed. The bed touches the wall on 3 out of 4 walls, with a small distance away from the entrance wall, so getting on and off the bed is limited to the left side foot of the bed (when facing the bed). We hope all our guests enjoy their stay and know what to expect, so please see photos and consider this when booking. Thank you!

Noise potential:
Please note that the home is on a Main Street so guests will hear noise from traffic (sound of passing cars). Neighbor also has a dog that occasionally barks.

House rules:
We ask that guests remove their outside shoes when inside the studio.
Please do not dispose of anything besides liquids down the kitchenette drain. There is no garbage disposal. Please do not flush anything besides toilet paper down toilet. Guest will be responsible for any clogged pipes or plumbing. Thank you.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

St Pete - Tiny House

This property boasts an excellent location, offering convenient access to various attractions and major roads. The neighborhood is impressively clean and peaceful, providing a relaxing atmosphere for our stay. The house itself was well-maintained and tidy, reflecting the overall cleanliness of the property. While my stay was largely positive, there is room for improvement in the bathroom. Specifically, the current shower head and water pressure. Despite this minor issue, I found the property to be a solid choice for my visit.

Trip cut short

Extremely small but could deal with that. Parking was not adequate for truck & trailer. Heater did not work. Paid for 3 nights, stayed 1 and left.

Tiny and close quarters but great

The house was exactly what I saw on VRBO. Cute, decorated very cute, very clean and came with our own parking spot! Queen bed fit in room with about 8 inches open on just one side, which was challenging. But once we got the "hang" of how to get 2 people in without crawling over the other person, it was fine. Saw a portable ironing board, but did not find an iron (maybe missed it?). Didn't need it anyway, so was not a problem.

Exactly as listed

Husband and I were in St. Pete to attend a church anniversary. We just needed a place to sleep and relax. The linens were very fresh and clean smelling and the unit was clean. A little hard to find at first so hopefully you arrive during daylight hours. Must enter through a clean alley behind a house. Keep in mind it is a tiny house and you have to crawl in the bed from the bottom. My husband has had both knee replacements so difficult for him to get in and out of bed. Consider your age or mobility and if you want to stretch out and relax. No TV in bedroom. When you shower you must be inside the shower before you turn the water on so be prepared for that cold shock. You cannot open the shower door with the water on. I experienced my tiny house bucket list item but we need a bit more space.

Vrbo site change

The on-line vrbo site changed which meant that I had a hard time to communicate with host. When trying to contact the host on-line I would get the message "your tablet is not compatible" Instructions were not clear as to what to do with the garbage. I even sent the host an email for instructions on where to put the garbage, but she did not reply. When I advised here that the recycle bin was overflowing she replied that it took her 30 minutes to get to the rental. It sounded like she was complaining???

Too small

When we arrived, I had to reach out to the owner for the lock information which normally that is sent to you a few hours before your arrival. There were also no instructions in the home on wifi or how to use the remotes. Also, the parking was challenging as we arrived in the evening the other tenant was parked right in the middle of the driveway and we had to call the owner to let him know we had to squeeze in on the grass in the alley. It took him over 6+ hours to reply back. This unit would be ok for one adult but for two this was very tight. The bed was so small that you had to crawl over the other person to get out of the bed. The window unit only cools the first part of the unit, the bedroom and bathroom are hot. Thank goodness for the oscillating fan cause without that we would of been cooked. The bedroom needs its own window unit to keep this house cooler. There is also no sink in the bathroom, only the shower and the toilet. You have to use the kitchen sink to brush teeth and wash your face. The shower floor feels like its about to give way. There is also no stove only a toaster oven but there are pots and pans in the unit. Where do you use those? Unfortunately, I should of reviewed this better. We ended up leaving a day early and flying home on Memorial day instead of enjoying the rest of our vacation.

Tolerable

Tiny? Yes. Good use of space? Not so much. Cooling definitely an issue, but fan on high made it tolerable. Host requests shoes off inside but floor was a bit sticky and bare feet get dirty. Keurig machine but no pods. Tolerable, but not welcoming.

Great stay

Everything was great. Only complaint is the shower, no pressure in the shower head so after a day at the beach it was hard to wash off. Also, the lawn was not mowed, not a huge deal, just annoying when it rained because we had to walk through the long wet grass. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful. The tiny home was cute and was everything we needed for a few day stay.

Everything was pretty good overall. Only complaints were there is no sink/mirror in the bathroom, we weren’t told that to turn on the lights required a switch and remote, and only got a check in code 15 mins before we arrived. Great location!!
