Escape into the quiet serenity of lake and mountain views while enjoying all the comforts of modern amenities! The Denali Penthouse offers a comforting and private suite overlooking Scotty Lake in Trapper Creek, Alaska. Known to many outdoor enthusiasts, this area boasts an abundance of wildlife, spectacular Denali views, trails for snow-machining, cross-country skiing, and many other adventures. Trapper Creek is also known for Petersville, one of Alaska’s most popular places to snow-machine!

Summer guests are able to enjoy walks throughout the 5 acre property, pick raspberries in the orchard (seasonal dependent), and listen to the calls of the eagles and loons on the lake from their penthouse balcony. Other frequent summer visitors are the beavers, nesting swans, and moose.
Guests have complimentary access to canoes and paddle boards to tour the lake and experience some of the most breath-taking views of Mt. Denali!

Winter guests are able to enjoy the serene winter back drop of Scotty Lake and the Alaska range mountains. Take advantage of the easy access to snow-machine trails from the lake, sled on the sledding hill, or simply enjoy a cozy weekend! If the Northern lights are out, you will be able to enjoy them and the stars from the Penthouse balcony. Snowshoes and sleds are provided for guest use.

About the Penthouse: this is a second story, 700 sq. ft. suite situated along quiet lakefront. One queen bedroom plus a full size murphy bed in the living room will comfortably sleep up to four people. Enjoy all the kitchen amenities and make yourself at home while enjoying the quiet remoteness of Alaska. On site hosts are nearby to assist with any needs or requests.

We first fell in love with how quiet and serene this property is, yet it is still near the road system and close enough for a day trip to Denali National Park! Listen to the eagles call across the lake, and enjoy the nesting swans, beavers, and moose that frequent the area. Winter guests enjoy the local snow-machine trails, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, sledding, and gazing at the Northern lights. Summer guests enjoy pike fishing, canoeing, paddle-boarding, and taking in the gorgeous views of the Alaska Range mountains!
