We enjoyed our stay and appreciated several aspects of the home. There were plenty of sleeping arrangements for a large group, the pool with waterfall feature was a highlight, along with the basketball court. The neighborhood was quiet, and the location was very convenient—just off I-5 while still feeling peaceful with no freeway noise.However, cleanliness was a concern. The floors did not feel clean, and when we moved a couch to retrieve a toy, we found dirt and trash underneath, suggesting the home may not have been fully cleaned between guests. There were also cobwebs inside and outside, coffee stains on the ceiling, and the carpets appeared old and dirty. The backyard also had visible leaves and debris.The hot tub was murky upon arrival and not usable initially. The host suggested adding a spa tablet and running jets, which did not resolve the issue. After we provided photos, a pool service company came out and corrected it, and we were able to use it for part of our stay. We appreciated the follow-through, but it would have been better if it had been ready at check-in.The layout is also somewhat unusual. While there are many sleeping options, the common areas do not offer much group seating. Aside from the dining room, there is limited comfortable space for everyone to gather, both inside and outside.Overall, the home has strong amenities and potential for large groups, but improvements in cleanliness and maintenance would improve the guest experience.

Wonderful Stay

My 5 friends and I enjoyed our stay the house. It was the perfect size and layout for us. We loved everything about it. The driveway was more than wide enough for our 2 vehicles. The hosts were so friendly and responded to our inquiries very quickly. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We will stay here the next time we return to Redding.

The home was in a great location and was well supplies with everything we needed. The management was easy to work with, receptive and helpful. We all very much enjoyed our stay! The pool was a great retreat from the heat. Waterfall was not working but that was o.k. Oh, and, the beds were so comfortable !

This is an amazing house. It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need.Lot of rooms with comfortable beds and very clean.we loved the backyard and Jacuzzi, it was super relaxing. Everything you need is within close proximity such as Costco, restaurants, shops and more.The host was very attentive and responsive. We would stay here again!

Had a great stay. The house was perfect for 3 families to share. Everyone had their own bed to be comfortable in. The location of the home was perfect for our daily trips to Lake Shasta. The neighbor is quiet, we never even saw the direct neighbors. The backyard is spacious and had a beautiful pool.The only major negative was the floors!! The carpet needs a serious cleaning /replacing and the floors are NOT scrubbed good enough between renters. We’re talking black socks and feet after walking through the house. Would recommend and would stay again if the floors were taken care of.

Shasta summer vacation

We stayed at the serenity house for one week this summer and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was all family with small children and grown-ups. They had an awesome swimming pool that was perfectly clean, the pool guy came twice during the week. We stayed there. They also had an hot tub for the adults to enjoy, my only complaint because all of the rooms were set up lovely and all of the beds were made up wonderfully is that some of the furniture was a little un sturdy. One of the stools in the kitchen the screws were loose and so it was a little dangerous to sit on and one of the chairs out back same thing it was missing. Some screws of the leg was funky , so he said it aside. All in all everything we needed was there at the house and we had a very enjoyable vacation. I would go back again.

The home is very nice with modern kitchen appliances. We did not cook but it appeared that there were plenty of pots and pans etc. My grandkids were in the pool for hours each day. The communication with the property management was very easy and helpful. We would stay here again.
