Escape to the charming island coastal town of St. George Island & experience the ultimate vacation at our 4-bedroom 4-bath with a Private Pool (Can be Heated). Nestled in a gated guarded neighborhood, our house offers a perfect blend of comfort and adventure with beach, miles and miles of bike paths, tennis or Pickle Ball courts, 1,800 ft Airstrip, kayaking launches with many dedicated wildlife viewing areas.

We keep a well stocked kitchen, complete with a Stove/Oven/Microwave, Refrigerator, Ninja Blender, Hand Blender, Hot Plates, Deep Fryer, Toaster, Double Waffle Maker & all essential Baking Pans to whip up delicious meals. A Kurig in each bedroom… 2 Bedroom Refrigerators,.. Gather around the dining table or enjoy al fresco dining on the comfortably furnished covered porch or in the poolside screened room with a Full-Size Refrigerator, Webber Gas & Charcoal Grills, Sink plus Outdoor Pool Shower... The private pool can be heated for $450. per week. Please request pool heat in advance.

The Plantation has 2 Clubhouses, 2 additional swimming pools, a weight lifting room and it is a birders paradise. We have many turtles nesting between April and October and to watch the dolphins play in the waters is another treat.

When it's time to unwind, you can take a dip in the Outdoor Pool (ask to have the pool heated ($450) per week or use the provided Corn Hole or Boccee Ball games… Curl up on the couch and enjoy a movie on the many smart TV’s with DirecTV channels Plus we provide a " Complimentary Sports Package" . For the little ones, there is a Booster Seat, One Highchair, books, games, & toys to keep them entertained.

Laundry facilities are conveniently located off the kitchen area & the air-conditioned comfort plus ceiling fans throughout the home. Explore the outdoor play area, relax on the provided beach loungers, and savor the tranquility of the large comfortably seated and covered balcony.

Unload your cold groceries in the additional full size refrigerator in the screened carport and Bring groceries or extra ice upstairs when needed.. A dining table, chairs, outdoor sink and shower... both Gas & C harcoal Webber Grills... All on the private screened pool and carport level. (Optional Pool Heat $450 per week)

St George Island

This is our second time staying at Angels Dream. We love the location with the short walk to the beach. The kids love the pool, and it’s also a short drive to Nick’s Hole where you can put in paddle boards. Great spot!

Our family enjoyed this wonderful house. The house was beautiful, location was perfect and made for an enjoyable week of family time. The location was as described, close to the beach and just a short path to get there. The beach was full of shells, especially at low tide. When not at the beach, the family enjoyed the large pool. Beach items were available, eliminating the need to pack these bulky items. Plus a beach wagon to easily take everything to the beach. Deborah was always in contact. Appreciated her quick responses and checking in with us to make sure all was okay. Deborah and Isaac also left a welcome gift which was a nice plus. Would stay here again in the future!

A great vacation house with a pool

Great house for all! Great pool and short walk to beach on Sandy path. All the necessary items for both outside and inside were included in this spacious home. We loved being out on the decks! An Angels Dream

This house had everything we needed and the host, Deborah and Issac were so friendly and helpful. This was an annual beach girls trip we’ve been doing for 33 years. Any little issue we had, Deborah and Issac took care of immediately. We will visit again and stay at “An Angel’s Dream”!

My family has been coming to St George for 18 years. The owners of this home truly make you feel welcome into their home. They have put alot of thought into what you will need for your stay. Private and Serene

We stayed for a month over December and fell in love with this property and the location. The owner was an expert hostess and checked in on us many times. At first, when you walk in, you are hit with a 1990's vibe, but as you settle in the feeling is absolute home. Somehow it just feels comfortable and easy there. We had everything we needed. The beach is just a very short walk and private. Amazing views, private, very quiet, dog-friendly everywhere - if you wanted to write a book this would be a great place!!!!

In 1994 we bought our first St George island beach house. As our children grew, we spent our summers, school breaks and every chance we had to be on St. George Island.

St George Island is a jewel in the Gulf waters & a great way to explore the great outdoors. A place where we could bring our children and dogs without the pressures and noise of over an populated beach or strict regulations.

As our family grew more than 4 times in size, we knew we needed a lot more room. As good timing would have it we found An Angel's Dream.

The large private pool at An Angel's Dream is where many of our grandchildren learned to swim. We especially enjoy the heated pool during the Spring & Fall when days are warm but the nights are cool.

When we want to be on the water so we kayak, swim or spend the Day on our Hobie cat. You can rent all sorts of water craft at Journeys & other shops on the Island. Also available are guided sailing, airboats and fishing trips and much more.

At night we often take turns cooking, watch a family movie, swim, play board games or work on a puzzle. We sit outside on the top deck to watch the stars, look at the moon or walk the beach and look for turtles coming out to lay their eggs or hatch.

August, September & November have the most amazing and plentiful shooting star sightings!

We enjoy riding our bikes nearly every day. I have no idea the total miles of bike paths on the Island but you can ride all the way to the East End and into the St George Island State Park....

Visit the Lighthouse & Museum Gift shop. Viewing the island & Gulf from the lighthouse is worth the climb! If you are lucky enough, try to buy the Full Moon tickets.

We hope you enjoy staying at our home & the Island as much as we do and please return to visit An Angel's Dream again & again.

Why they chose this property

The Plantation on St George Island is a gated, guarded community with an airport, clubhouses, fire station, pickleball… And situated on a short direct to the beach path. No streets to cross...

The Pelican Beach neighborhood is only 6 miles to the lighthouse & center of the island, Lighthouse and gift shops, grocery and gas station.

After a day at the beach, the swimming pool and comfort of the house is there waiting.

There's lots of room to nap on many a couch & lounge chairs or glide into the sweet water of the pool.

We love the colorful tile and views from the great room and the fact that our family has plenty of room to spread out yet be together for games, puzzles & a movie through the large Roku Smart TVs.

We often dine or play games in the large screened summer kitchen in the carport. There is a full-size refrigerator to unload your groceries and easy to grab drinks, tables, chairs, couch, 2 grills & sink.
The Plantation is a nature wonderland for those who love to explore the outdoors.

The island has no big chain stores but there's a grocery/gas in the Island's central area.

The SGI Plantation beach is unspoiled, clean and is a quiet family beach... The wildlife & fishing is simply amazing.

May to November we've had the wonderful experience of witnessing turtles lay their eggs on the beach & watch the hatchings make their way to the water.

Many incredible encounters with dolphins and manatees. In Winter & Spring we've seen pods of Stella Dolphins swimming in the "hundreds, " as far as my eyes could see"...

Late Summer & Fall watch an amazing site of Dolphins play with the cannonball jelly fish (no they don't sting) a dolphin food source, high in protein.

SGI is in the migration path of 52 species of birds and many over winter.

What makes this property unique

Very close to the beach & private on a dedicated beach path. The large covered porch is very comfortably furnished. It's easy to take a nap, read a book or dine outdoors.

Our grand kids learned to swim in the pool at An Angel's Dream and its so easy to keep an eye on them from any level of the house.

The house & beach are a great place for our grown children & grandchildren to be free of the rigors from school and or work. They bike most everywhere, freely to explore and take photos of the natural beauty of the Island beach, sunrise and sundown.

This is the place where we can reconnect with the simple life, explore and be in touch with nature and our family... Build sandcastles, swim. connect with nature, star gaze, play board games, puzzles and gather in the kitchen...

St George Island Plantation has many miles of bike paths,. From the Cut to nearly the other end of the island... The waters are considered world class saltwater fishing... 3 tennis courts, 3 pickleball courts, 2 awesome club house & exercise room . In addition to "our private swimming pool" there are 2 Plantation swimming pools. One at the club house on Magnolia and the other, a lagoon pool and kiddy pool at Park Ave. Maps are available online.

There is so much to do you will want to stay longer just to finish that book you brought or catch another fish for dinner.

Spend some time in Historic Apalachicola. A lovely turn of the 19-century town. Good restaurants a microbrewery and lots to explore... Take some time to walk around, have lunch or a cocktail at the Gibson Inn, The Owl, The Station & more. Great town to view the turn of the century homes and you can even rent bikes or a golf cart.
