Great place and parking for two cars was great. The house was nice and clean. The dryer didn’t work but other than that it’s an excellent choice for close to the beach and the strand.

Property was exactly as pictured and described. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Lots of beach accessories and wagons to pull to the beach. Short walk to beach was definitely a huge plus! Beds were comfy for good rest also!

Clean and comfortable house located an easy walking distance to the pier. Also an easy drive to the Strand District for restaurants and shopping. The host Jason was friendly, easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We loved being able to use the beach chairs and beach gear.

Beautiful two story 3 bed 2-1/2 bath house with driveway parking for two vehicles and in a perfect location. The walk to the beach is short enough to come back to the house for a break/lunch and then head back out. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.

Beautiful place, perfect location.

We really enjoyed our stay. House is very clean and comfortable. Super close to the beach, the pier and within walking distance to the Strand. A quick Uber drive to the cruise terminal. Thank you so much for opening your home to us!

This place was near the beach but we thought it was bigger in space size and the master bedroom downstairs has only 1 mattress on the bed and it was very hard on me and my 65 year old body it wasn’t comfortable at all but we made it to work. We also had a problem with the dryer working when we tried to use it for the first time it just would not come on. So we had to hang clothes to dry . And I Did reach out to our host. But again we just made the best of the stay. The bed linens did not look to be clean on the master and my husband noticed a smell in the linen as if they were not freshly put on. The couches did have a few stains that could use some atttentikn to, we just covered th with throws to sit on them the house is very nice but needs some special attention if you want it to keto up its appearance moving forward. Thank you

Beautiful house that’s close to everything

My family enjoyed our stay at this house. Fully furnished kitchen , champagne shower , soft beds , modern decor , comfy couch and so much more. It’s in walking distance to the beach. I loved the covered garage to pull into. The host was very accommodating and check in & out went smooth. A great find !

Galveston Spring Break Trip

We thought the house, location, amenities, were all great. The house had beach chairs and balls to play on the beach. All of the restaurants were within blocks. We rented a golf cart which was right next the house. Almost immediate replies from the host.This was our first time staying at VRBO and I we are hooked based on this experience.

Nice house but had some issues.

Property was as described. But there was an issue with the property beyond the management ‘s control. Management was helpful in letting us out of the booking so we could rebook elsewhere through vrbo.

Our weekend stay at this property was excellent. The property was incredibly clean and the kitchen/laundry rooms were well stocked with the essentials. The property has a storage room with some beach essentials. Literally, two walking blocks to the beach and the Galveston amusement pier. Quiet neighborhood while we were there. Master bedroom on the first floor. Some previous reviews noted the bed was low/on the ground but it is not on the floor. It does not have a box spring which does make it seem lower to the ground but the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. One of the upstairs bedroom had a king size bed that my daughter said was very comfortable. Upstairs also has a jack-jill bathroom that is in between the two bedrooms and functioned just great as such. The living room was comfortable and the kitchen had a large island with comfortable bar stools. Private parking was a plus as opposed to street parking. Nice patio deck in front of the property. The owner was very responsiveness and courteous as we asked for an additional night but was already booked after our reservation. Property photos listed on VRBO are accurate. Will definitely stay at this property again.

I recently stayed in Galveston while my son and friends went on a cruise. This place is literally down the street from the port- very easy to get to. This home is also steps away from Seawall and the beach. The property manager was very helpful and checked in often. There is renovation going on next door. There is a storage room that has everything you would need for a trip to the beach (very convenient). The house has everything you need except the food. The house has room for a large family or friend group. There are a few things that will not allow me to rate the property above 3 stars. The listing pictures are old and misleading. The couch needs to be cleaned. The shower heads in both bathrooms need to be replaced (functional but horrible). The beds are on the floor. Literally on the floor (with the exception of the bunk). Very uncomfortable mattress. If you have knee or back issues, you might fare better sleeping on the filthy couch. That being said, a friend came down from TX and she said it would be perfect for her family - I gave her the listing info. I guess it depends on your level of pickiness- this place has a multitude of positive attributes.
