Now is the time to check out some of the best views in all of Newaygo County! We are happy to welcome you to Croton Island Resort. Located on the beautiful Croton Pond portion of the Muskegon river, you'll love all that the area has to offer.

The main homes offers 3 bedrooms and 1 bath and oozes with charm and comfort. You will love the updated kitchen, Knotty Pine interior, and the insanely large deck space! We provide a wonderful grilling space outside, complete with two grills, including a Blackstone for your cooking pleasure.
Home comes complete with access to a shared island with dock and lounging area.

Additionallythere is a secondary guest house available for your use. It offers a Queen bed, Sleeper Sofa, a Kitchenette and an additional full Bathroom! Sleeps 4 additional people.

Our group had a fantastic weekend here and enjoyed all it had to offer. A little upgrade to the bunkhouse would make this even better. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay! Entire family had a good time. Enjoyed the hot tub, fished the dock quite a bit and went for a couple hikes in the area. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy and there was a surprising amount of space inside as well.

The host has EXCELLENT communication and was able to help with anything we needed. The home is VERY well cleaned and spacious, and was safe for our toddler to roam around. We absolutely loved being able to bring our boat along and do some fishing -didn’t catch much but it’s so beautiful that it didn’t matter! The neighbors are friendly, food and supplies weren’t too far, and it was a an excellent stay for us.

Beautiful location!

We rented this house to be close to family during a weekend gathering. It was really nice- the views and location on the water was beautiful. Bonus was the place was very cool during a heat wave too.

Lake house had an amazing view, house was very clean lots of amenities very well stocked. The guest house had a musty smell, making it impossible to use the bathroom or the guest house itself. Hot tub was dirty around the surface of the hot tub. Pictures of the stairs were deceiving there was green algae in the lake water it should’ve been cleaned out better around the dock so you were able to swim all in all beautiful view and very clean. Way overpriced.

Amazing property

My group found this to be the perfect spot for a weekend get away. The deck and dock are fantastic and the hot tub was very clean. The park across the street is great for all ages. If you wanted to hit a beach there is a public park 5 minutes away with a nice one. I would recommend this property to anyone and would 100% book again!

We thought is was very nice with great view and setting. Lots of space, huge garage for inclement weather. We went into the town - Newaygo - and found it to be very quaint and interesting, lots of little shops and old bookstore. Great place......................Jim

We stayed here for a fishing trip. The inside of the house was clean but lacked a table and chairs to each meals at. The outside was good enough for our needs. We had a good time. Thanks.

Quiet with a Riverview

Our group of 12 enjoyed our stay at Seth's and would recommend it to anyone looking to book in this area. We choose this location because part of our trip involved a day at MI Adventure which was only about a 45 min drive from the home. Communication to Seth was great when we reached out due to needing additional towels, he had them shipped next day. There was also an issue with the hot tub but when I informed him he made the drive the next morning to address the issue which was appreciated! We would rent this home again.

Hosted a fun family trip here and we had a blast. The kids had plenty to do with the nearby parks and beaches. The house is what you would expect from a house on the river, no frills just all the things you need to have fun. ProBeautiful viewsKitchen was updated and had all the utensils/pots you would need to cook/grill.Not a photo queen Vrbo with all those fancy pillows and misc trinkets everywhere, which was nice. Fishing from the dock was fun, could dock a boat there.Big rear porch with nice view and lots of stairs.ConsSome bugs and spiders here and there but that didnt ruin any of the fun. The guest house needs some updates, smells like grandma closet?

Great family vacation

The house was great. Everyone had their own space. Nice and cool (air conditioning). Great large deck area. There are about 60 stairs to get to the river, I would keep that in mind depending on who is staying there (ie handicap, families with small babies) Beds inside home besides bunk beds were very firm, a little uncomfortable for our preference. Beautiful kitchen, Huge garage for toys or parking, we utilized it during a big rain storm. Mother in law suite was perfect to have our own space whenever we needed it with great air conditioning. Hot tub was a great bonus too. The couch was nice but fell apart often as we had two older toddlers and moms with babies sitting on it constantly. Had to remake (regroup/refluff) it quite a few times.
