This is an excellent place to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet and relaxation. It was wonderful to drink coffee by the fireplace in the mornings and watch the deer outside. It is nice and quiet to sleep well at night. The views driving up to the property were amazing at sunset. The host was wonderful to deal with and very responsive.

We loved the old farmhouse feel. Hottub was very nice. Feeding and watching the deer were amazing! It wasn't just a few. There were lots!

Duct work needs cleaning and seen a couple of spiders. Didn't use Hot Tub. Was a good stay and close to hiking trails. The deer were very friendly. We would probably go back again.

Cabin was cozy, hot tub was clean and hot, firepit was relaxing and the deer were a blessing.
Deer came within 20ft of us while we sat by firepit.

Easy to get to Desoto State Park, Desoto Falls, and Little River Canyon for hiking. It was convenient for us to come back in the middle of the day so the kids could nap and rest. We were able to pick up anything we needed in Ft. Payne, and the cabin had everything we needed to make simple meals. Making s'mores around the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub were a great way to end a day of hiking . The living room was spacious and comfortable for our family of six, the kids enjoyed the game selection. We did have a small issue with a broken glass, and the owner was quick to respond and understanding.
