Great location, minutes away from Rib Mountain retail stores and restaurants while being located on Granite Peak Ski Hill with hiking trails and all sorts of outdoor recreation right out the front door.
Explore Granite Peak Ski Resort! Provides year-round fun for people of all ages, with a wide range of activities from scenic lift rides in the summer to premier skiing in the winter. If you are looking for more ways to get your adrenaline pumping, Nine Mile Forest is just a few minutes away with miles of mountain biking, snowshoeing and cross-country trails.
This premier ski property is just a short drive away from the top of the mountain where you can park your car and ski down. It also makes a quick and easy drive down to the home at the end of the day without having to deal with general parking at the ski resort (this property is not ski-in, ski-out). After a long day of adventuring the mountain, enjoy a fire in the outdoor firepit, cozy up to the pellet stove fireplace, or relax in the large 8-person outdoor hot tub and enjoy the stars!

Perfect End of ski season retreat

The house is well appointed, especially the kitchen. We had everything we needed and plenty of space and comfort to relax and spread out for two families and some extra friends.

It is hard to get a home/condo to rent close to the ski hill, especially with this many beds. The beds were mostly pretty good. The master suite mattress was very good, firm for an aging body. The kids in the bunk room wanted better blankets. The location is what makes it so expensive, I suppose. It is quite expensive for a condo compared to other ski locations. The large (it’s huge) dining table is fantastic! Eating meals together as a group, playing games, etc. if you’re a group that likes to be together, this is probably the best place to go close to the hill.

Ski Weekend in Wausau

Our group had a great time staying here. There was a large table that accommodated all of us for games and meals. The hot tub was a huge hit. The kitchen was well stocked and had really large refrigerator. There was lots of space for everyone to spread out too.the large windows showed all of the beautiful trees.

Family Fun

This was the perfect spot to have family meet for skiing, hiking and relaxing. We enjoyed board games at the large dining table and the proximity to granite peak so we could all easily come back to grab food between runs. Fun was had by all!
