Melissa has been an excellent host, she and her husband has been very friendly and accommodating to our needs while staying here, and she often reached out to ensure we are having a good experience. The property itself is lovely, clean and located near downtown Wausau. We’d definitely choose to stay here should we visit Wausau again!

The house is charming and it was impeccably clean. It is equipped with everything a person might possibly need and then some. Truly a home away from home. The beds are comfortable. Melissa made sure that everything was explained before arrival and with little notes in the house so that the guests knew exactly how everything worked. Overall, very pleased.

Wonderful in Wausau!

We had a great stay! The house was very clean and just as described. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our dogs—safe, spacious, and such a nice bonus. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Wausau!

Our guest, Paul and his friends stated that the house was clean, comfortable and that it looked great and they all had a wonderful stay and I haven’t received any reason why he gave a 4 star review. He did have some difficulty with the Vrbo site when trying to book but we have no control over that and we did everything possible to help.

Melissa was a wonderful host. All property instructions were very clear and did not need to reach out at all during our stay. The accommodations were clean, cozy and comfortable. The location was ideal, as it was conveniently close to the curling club facility. We were very satisfied with our experience and would happily stay here again!

Wonderful stay at The Comforts of Home

We enjoyed our stay at this very clean and comfortable property. We were able to ski during the day and enjoy family time in the evening with everything we could need in this cozy home.

Wonderful place to stay!

Nice place to stay in Wausau. We stayed here for a curling tournament and it was a perfect place. Plenty of room, close to the club, and the host was fantastic. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay. Very pet friendly. Our pups loved the fenced backyard so much they didn’t want to leave Lots of nice touches around the home it was decorated for Fall. Melissa even surprised us with some thoughtful treats. Extremely clean and comfortable. If we are in the area again, this is where we will stay !
