Wonderful cabin with more room than I thought! Peaceful, everything worked great, beds were fantastic. It was just what we needed. The best part is the host! They are FANTASTIC. Customer service these days is hard to find but they got it RIGHT. Would highly recommend this cabin.
We enjoyed the 3 levels of bedrooms and baths, the pool table, outdoor fire pit, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, gas stove, ice maker, washer and dryer all in this cabin.
My husband and I had a wonderful, but too short stay at BlackBerry Hill cabin in Blue Ridge, GA. Beautiful property with great attention to detail, plus great deer watching. Very quiet and perfectly relaxing.
Everything about this cabin and our stay was great. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions I may have had. The cabin was well supplied with anything we needed. Location was great, easily accessible by car.
We were so happy with the cabin! Awesome furnishings, bedding was perfect and kitchen was fully stocked with new appliances. Our dogs enjoyed watching the deer out the front door and the back screen room. Although it wasn’t cool enough for a fire, everything was in place for when it is cooler.
We do rentals three times a year. This cabin in the host were the best place I have ever stayed. They absolutely supplied everything you would need for a week at a cabin. It was very clean, very well taken care for and very nice. It was in a great location to get to and from town. I would definitely stay here again or stay at one of their rentals!!!
We had to delay our stay and Tim couldn’t have been kinder. In this current situation, we need more of them. It’s an awesome property and we cannot wait.
The cabin was beautiful. They are currently finishing the downstairs and it's almost done. It's going to be beautiful! Tom & Hillery were great. I had to send an email with a question and they were very quick to reply and had great communication. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!
We stayed at this cabin for our 4-year anniversary trip, and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so comfortable and welcoming. The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared — truly a home away from home. One of the best parts was how pet-friendly it was. Our dog Bella had the best time exploring the area and relaxing by the hot tub with us. It was so nice to find a place where she was just as welcomed as we were.Whether we were enjoying quiet mornings on the porch or cozy evenings inside, every moment felt peaceful and special. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Thank you for helping make our anniversary so memorable — we’ll definitely be back!
Beautiful home. So clean and well kept. The owners thought of everything. Everything was provided. We ended up not bringing our dog, but if we had even crates and dishes were provided. Absolutely loved the screened in porch with fireplace. Would definitely rent again. Thanks for a wonderful week.
We loved everything about our stay at Blackberry Hill! The cabin was impeccably clean, cozy, well-stocked, and had loads of great features: multiple fireplaces (gas and woodburning), a pool table, hot tub, screened porches, a wonderful fire pit patio at the edge of the woods, and enough bedrooms to keep our family of four well-rested and happy. The property managers were friendly and responded quickly anytime we reached out to them. The surrounding area has lots to offer--cute towns, nice hikes, gorgeous scenery, mountain coaster, etc.--but honestly, we spent more time than expected just relaxing at the cabin because it was THAT nice! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to friends and family.
This has to be the best cabin we have ever stayed in. Would love to have this for our home. It has everything you need/want. Beautiful location, spacious living room, excellent WI-Fi, great kitchen, 3 fire places, a fire pit with an awesome patio. Large screened in porch with fireplace. Great bedrooms and bathrooms. Gas grill. Deer come to visit down below the cabin. Don’t forget to go see the Big foot museum and also about 40 minutes away - Amicalola falls. We will visit here again for sure.
Great screened porch with fireplace and comfortable chairs. Inside gas fireplace was nice on the cold mornings. Large TVs in every room. Comfortable furniture and bed. Beautiful fire pit area. One of the most positive things about this property that sets it apart from other rentals is that everything was furnished (tp, paper towels, coffee pods, soap, kitchen supplies and even wood for the outside fireplace, etc. ) so no running to the store . Didn’t care for the bear motif but that’s a minor thing. When the basement is complete, it will be a great couple’s or family getaway because there is a bedroom and bathroom on each floor.
The owners thought of everything! They even had dog crates available if needed for our pets!! Very comfortable home to stay in. Kitchen was beyond fully equipped. Beds were excellent. Towels thick and plush. Owners did not go cheap on anything. Thank you for helping us have an awesome escape to the mountains!
We have stayed at a number of rental units in the past, and this was the cleanest and best stocked we’ve rented. Tom was exceptionally quick to respond to our questions both before we rented and during our stay.
Blue Ridge is one of our favorite places to visit, and the cabin was only a few minutes’ drive away. We enjoyed hiking on some easy trails around the lake, also nearby. Mostly, though, we loafed around the cabin, and it was a good place to do just that.
We had a great time in this beautiful cabin. The listing looked great, but the actual property was even better. The owner/manager was very easy to work with. We highly recommend this vacation cabin in Blue Ridge. We look forward to another stay.
This cabin was spotless upon our arrival and is well stocked for a pleasant stay away from home. The hosts we extremely helpful and kind leading up to our visit and during. We will return.

About the host
Hosted by Hillery and Tom Siffermann
Tom and Hillery are both Real Estate professionals with a combined 45 years of Real Estate experience, mostly in commercial real estate development and management. We discovered St Croix almost by accident. With Covid running rampant in 2020, and international travel not an option for us, we ventured to St Croix to avoid international travel restrictions. We immediately fell in love with the island. Having the ability to choose from several breathtaking beaches frequently by ourselves, was all we needed to know this was the place for us. We purchased Mojito Hill in May of 2021. Just prior to closing Mojito Hill, Splash of Lime became available. We made an offer within an hour of it hitting the market, and now have two amazing St Croix Villas. In September of 2021, we decided and add a more mountainy property to our offering, and we selected Blue Ridge for its beautiful mountain scenery, rivers, great downtown restaurants and dozens of nearby local wineries. Our favorite activity at Blackberry Hill is enjoying a coffee on the upper deck with a roaring fire in the chimenea.
Why they chose this property
Blue Ridge offers something for everyone. A sportsman's paradise with endless local hunting and fishing opportunities. Blue Ridge also offers activities for many other interests. Between zip lining, river rafting, horse back riding, hiking and waterfall viewing, among many other activities, there is no shortage of things to do. For the real adventurer, just 15 minutes to the south Expedition Bigfoot will answer all your questions about Squatch movements. Downtown Blue Ridge is 4 miles away from Blackberry Hill, and is packed with restaurants and shopping. Blue Ridge is also an emerging wine region with over 40 wineries within 60 miles of the cabin and many much closer. Blue Ridge is also a big apple growing region, featuring Mercier Orchards and short drive to Georgia's famous Apple Festival in October. Our favorite thing to do in Blue Ridge is to start our day with Coffee (latte machine provided in cabin) on the upper deck with a roaring fire in the Chimenea. We then like to discover new wineries and bring our favorite bottle of the day back to the cabin, sprinkle some corn on the patio, build a big fire in the main deck fireplace, and enjoy our wine, while watching the wildlife visiting for an afternoon treat.
