I’ve been renting temporary vacation housing spaces for over three years and have always enjoyed the visitors. Guest’s apartment bedroom is furnished with all the linens, separate heat and AC as well as mini refrigerator and flat screen television plus internet and WiFi. The new property is located in a quiet town of Hartland, Maine just 10 minutes to interstate 95, exits 150 and 157, just 35 minutes to Waterville, 50 minutes to Bangor, 30 minutes to Skowhegan and 10 minutes to Pittsfield. Located on a 3600 acre lake, Snowmobile/ATV Trail across the street, fishing, lots of outdoor recreation so bring your all season machine whether it’s a boat, snowmobile, or ATV and grocery store just minutes away. A large fire pit as well as a gas grill for outdoor relaxation and cooking. For those of you who like to cook or eat in, there is a fully furnished nearly new kitchenette with many utensils and appliances. It’s also only about an hour and 15 minutes from Sugarloaf USA as well as the famous Maine coast. We offer private bedrooms and bath room. Convenient to the Maine Turnpike exit 150 and 157. A fully refunded $200 security deposit will be made upon booking and refunded at check out. No refund given of cancellations within seven days of check in.

Mid-Summer Retreat

Comfortable and clean. This property was right on the river and easy to access with kayaks. We enjoyed the 6 day stay. there is easy access to Bangor and coastal towns.

Week in Maine

Overall pleasant, the only two issues being with the description in the property having an oven. We anticipated cooking in and had no oven just a toaster and toaster oven. Luckily my husband was able to cook everything from eggs and bacon to meatloaf on the grill. We did have to purchase some utensils and cookware such as knives, spatula, disposable pans which we did leave for the next guest. Host was very pleasant despite upon check out he did follow us around inside the unit as we tried to pack, checking drawers perhaps to see if we “stole”. He did make mention that he usually doesn’t allow dogs or does charge an extra fee, even though my dogs are service dogs and we were completely transparent that we would be bringing them. These things things made up feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. We did find that some areas that could have been cleaned better (cobwebs, dirty mirrors in the bathroom) but we own a cleaning company and may see things others might not. Overall the location was good, and we had a good trip.
