Enjoy quietude in our cozy carriage house on this spacious wooded lot in the village of Bass Harbor, town of Tremont, bordering Acadia National Park and within walking distance to Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse on the Quiet Side of the Island.
The property,just upgraded, offers peace and quiet all its own with its natural setting of grass and trees, two hammocks, open fire pit, horseshoe game pit, large relaxation/ meditation labyrinth, and wildlife including deer, squirrels, birds and butterflies.
The space
The Carriage House is fully upgraded throughout,with new paint and floors, and features an open concept kitchen, dining and living room area, with new stainless steel appliances and a new granite island countertop. It has two bedrooms with 6” wide closets, and a bathroom with new frameless glass shower.
Guest access
The entire Carriage House is available to guests along with the spacious natural surroundings.
Washer and dryer are located in the garage, which also offers storage for recreation/ sports equipment.

JOG on Seawall Rd (R 102A) on the ample shoulder along this road (.5 mile)
HIKE, JOG or BIKE the HIO Road Trail from Adam Bridge at Bass Harbor Marsh to Seawall Campground, about 3 miles one way ( 2.5 miles)
RELAX at Seawall Natural Rock Wall or Seawall Picnic Area (2.3 miles)
SWIM at Echo Lake Beach (6.9 miles)
EAT at 8 Lobster Pounds/Restaurants , not including Southwest Harbor, all within 5 miles.
VISIT the town of Southwest Harbor ( 4 miles)
