Cabin Fever is a cozy fully renovated one bedroom cabin in Florissant, Colorado
Located in Divide, this cabin is in a rural area and in the mountains. Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center and Butte Theater are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at North Slope Recreation Area and Shining Mountain Golf Club. Travelling with kids? Consider Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center and Manitou and Pike's Peak Railway.
Absolutely stunning setting, with mule deer visiting and calm, peaceful surroundings. Spacious living area, with a large kitchen and plenty of supplies for cooking at “ home”.Probably my only complaint was the top loading washer, as I have rather short arms so reaching the bottom was somewhat difficult ( I prefer front loading for this reason) Be prepared for a bit of a drive to local towns, but nothing more than 15 minutes or so…but did lose gps connection for a few minutes ( if you’re directionally challenged, download the directions in advance) The description says parking for 9 or 10 cars, but it probably would actually work for 4-5but not much more..

We enjoyed sitting by the fire and letting our dogs roam the land. But the space was not clean on arrival.

I am sorry you feel the property was not clean upon your arrival. During an active snow storm it is hard to keep the entry way floors spotless. I do hope you enjoyed the personalized birthday decor and home made fruit tart for your wife's birthday as well as the extra 3 hours you were given for check out prior to your arrival.
Wow! What an amazing stay we had at the cabin! The place is absolutely beautiful and very well equipped — everything we needed was there. The surrounding nature is breathtaking and made the experience even more special. The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. We were surprised with delicious cookies and a lovely handwritten note, which truly touched our hearts.Check-in was super easy, and the whole stay was smooth and relaxing. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Thank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure to host you.
Nice, beautiful and quiet place to stay. It was the perfect central location for all the activities we had planned for the kids. I would definitely rebook this place should we ever return to the area.
The cabin was extremely cute and quiet. The host were some of the best we’ve encountered when it comes to making someone feel comfortable. Will definitely book in future for secluded getaway!
Was our second time staying at this property, was great again as was the first time. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and nature. The caretaker has always taken care of our needs.
We had an amazing time at this house and it was in such a beautiful location where there was a deer outside the kitchen window when we had dinner, it was incredible. We would like to come back in the fall when the leaves start changing
The cabin is a bit remote but the drive is beautiful with lovely views of Pikes Peak. We regularly saw wildlife on the property which thrilled our grandchildren. The cabin was roomy and comfortable.
The house was very nice. be ready for driving on gravel roads to get to the place. It was wonderful to sit out and drink coffee in the morning-chipmunks everywhere. They even furnish firewood. Two fireplaces inside and an outside fire pit.
Finding the property went well and the check-in was very easy. The area was beautiful. The fourth bedroom was separate from the main home, but offered a creative, secluded place for those wanting that kind of experience. Kitchen and bathroom amenities were fantastic and the space was excellent. There were even fresh cookies and s'more's fixings which were a great touch. Only downside was the musty, damp smell to the bathroom towels. Overall we loved our stay and would return!
Our stay was great;the house was everything we wanted & needed it to be. The weather was great, not hot & very cool in the evening. The only problem was the broken trash can that the bear(s) got in almost every night. Never saw the bear so that was good. It was a wonderful week away!
This place is amazing! It's big and private, would stay here again in a heartbeat, loved that there is a lot of wood for the fire pit and fire place, the cast iron stove heats up the house very nice
