We immensely enjoyed our stay! It had snowed before we got there so we were treated to a beautiful view and a cozy cabin. The host was quick to respond if we were in need of anything. The cabin is not far from stores and restaurants so that helped us a lot since we had little ones with us.
Wonderful cabin in peaceful location and close to many great sites that Colorado is known for! One of the best VRBO hosts that we’ve experienced in the last decade!
Cabin setting was private and pristine, with the arrival of a family of mule deer to the site almost every morning. Aspens were in full bloom during our stay. Would love to come back with more of our extended family!
Thanks Chris!
Heating system in lower level very loud and hard to control making it hard to sleep. On last night person sleeping in main level master bedroom woke up with about a dozen bites on her body. We think it may be bed bugs. We did inform property manager.
This house was the perfect size snd layout for our group of 7 sdults. It was cozy enough for us all to gather in one place, but spacious enough for us all to have privacy. We also loved the remote location and the peace that brings. Chris was very responsive to my questions about the broken dishwasher and the heater downstairs that stopped working. He was already aware of those issues, so hopefully he will be able to get those fixed soon.
This country home rocks! It's spacious, clean, private and secluded, yet within 10 - 15 minutes of restaurants and other activities in Woodland Park. Perfectly designed for two groups of people - three bedrooms downstairs and one on main level make privacy easy. My wife and I hosted our daughter's family of 4 for five days. Full kitchen makes meal prep easy. And each day we enjoyed deer and elk grazing in front and back of the home. Our grandkids got so excited seeing these majestic animals. Mueller State Park provided several hiking trails just 10 minutes away. And Chris was always prompt replying to any inquiry. Look no further if you're looking for a quiet, secluded, spacious home in the Pike's Peak region.
Lots of room for the three of us. Love the kitchen for cooking meals and the dining table for games. We have been bragging about the place since we left.
Beautiful cabin on a beautiful piece of property with amazing views! The cabin was clean. Plenty of space with the main bedroom/bathroom plus another bathroom upstairs and 3 bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. We enjoyed our stay here. The area is nice, beautiful country roads with pastures and beautiful scenery. Cute little towns nearby. I would definitely recommend booking this cabin!
Lovely location and easy to find. Plenty of space for all of our family to sleep comfortably. Kitchen was set up that allowed us to easily prepare breakfast "at home". However , even though the stovetop worked the oven did not appear to be heating correctly. Small grocery store nearby that met all our needs. Clear skys to count all the stars and beautiful sunrise. Quiet. Family friendly. We would definitely stay again!!
Location was perfect, secluded and quiet. The layout of the main floor allowed for great conversations and meals. Our only issues were a lack of organization in the kitchen and a slight mildew smell in the basement.
We had 4 generations at this lovely cabin and there was something for everyone. We loved the feeling of seclusion and open spaces for the children to run. Not far from amazing sites.
This cabin was quiet, clean and it offered amazing views. The owner was very responsive to our questions ahead of our stay.If you are in a group that has a person(s) who has difficulty with stairs, I should mention, the master suite is on the main level, but the other three bedrooms and one bathroom is downstairs (basement level). There wasn't a floorplan that I could find that showed the layout. That would be the only drawback for people with mobility issues. We enjoyed the open layout kitchen, watching the deer from the front yard, and the close proximity to many tourist spots.
