There is a grill and fire pit for your use as well. If you need more room or two cottages nearby, The Coke Cottage is located on the same property.

Could not have had a better experience! The cabin was exactly as described/pictured. It was cozy and charming. The porch was perfect for coffee and chats, there were wild turkeys passing through the yard multiple days, we used the grill and fire pit multiple times each. The location made it very easy to get to Silver Lake, Pentwater, and other locations. I also reached out to Brian twice, once before and once during, and both times he responded in less than 30 minutes. So glad we got to stay!

Very comfy cabin close to dunes. Property has enough room to pull in, back up,and turn around trailers. We were able to park two trucks with trailers on site. Very handy if you are hauling to the dunes.

The cottage has potential, but unfortunately didn’t live up to our expectations based on the reviews we had read. The property is quite lovely, but inside the cottage there were ants, as well as black dog hair on the couch, living room rug, and the carpeting of the downstairs bedroom. There were enough beds for our family of 6, but the upstairs (where 4 of the beds are located) was very hot. There is also only seating for 4 people at the table in the house. There is a picnic table on the porch, but it is in the sun for most of the day so it was too hot to eat out there. I am not the kind of person to leave an unflattering review, but I want to bring these things up so they may be taken care of.

cottage in the woods

Very Comfortable cottage with Main floor master and a large sleeping loft upstairs. The grounds are great for hanging out and dunes and Lake Michigan around the corner.

Family weekend

Nice place, convenient to everything. Missed a.c. on the 1st night but temps cooled after that and we used fans we brought worked out fine. Cottage has everything you need.

Close to the dunes!

This is our 3rd time staying here over the years. Very close to the dunes and a short drive to town. Wild turkeys walking thru the yard often. Property manager easily accessible by phone or text if you need anything.

Dune trip

We went for the weekend for a trip to silver lake sand dunes with side by sides and this was An amazing place to stay it accommodated our trailers (as we had multiple with us) very well! The place looks exactly like the pictures and was very clean. Brian got back with us almost instantly each time I had a question and was great with communicating with us! One of the best stays I have ever had!

Coke Cottage

The cottage was clean and the kitchen and bathroom were updated. There was plenty of hot water and towels. The beds were comfy, but extra blankets would have been nice. There seemed to be a smell of mold which bothered us, but we tolerated it. I would stay again, but the stay would be so much more enjoyable if the owner would update the living room and add more sitting room, and just make it more appealing to the eyes. Overall I’d give Coke Cottage a 7/10!

Overall a nice little cabin, was not prepared for no AC, there was a small portable unit but unfortunately we were there during 90 degree weather and it did not keep up.Did not see in the listing so would be helpful for that to be made clear. Otherwise was a nice little place. Very peaceful.

Amazing!!!

The property was so much better than in the photos, the downstairs seems to be completely renovated! Me and my 4 friends had an absolute blast staying here! Great communication with the renter. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! (Be aware of the smoke detectors near the stove though it goes off very easily even with the fan on!)

Family getaway

If there were 10 stars for this property I would give them. My kids had an absolute blast at this cabin. The location is absolutely perfect. We came to see sand dunes and they’re literally just down the road. The sleeping arrangements were perfect also. With 4 kids(whom mostly don’t get along lol) the 4 beds in the loft meant no fighting over who had to sleep with who. My kids also loved exploring the property. Beautiful and wide open up front and heavily treed in the back. My kids loved walking amongst the trees and exploring. My wife and I are already talking about a winter trip and hoping to book the same cabin. The owner was easy to get in touch with and responded in a timely fashion. Thank you for letting us stay and we will be back in touch.
