Gite Marais between river and conche, boat, walk, and wifi!

Located in the heart of the Marais Poitevin,
This cottage invites you to enjoy the wild nature in Saint Hilaire la palud, in a quiet area distinguished as "Grand Site de France".
From the cottage, many bike rides or walks (marked hikes, possibility to provide adult bikes), and even by boat (private pier with boat) which travel the conches of the wild marsh.
5min from the ornithological park.
The cottage can accommodate 6 people: 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and one on the mezzanine (all equipped with double beds).
With equipped kitchen, TV lounge, free wifi, reading room or board games (many games provided).
Private garden with dining area and barbecue on the edge of the conche with private pier.
Parking on site.
On the other side of the road passes the canal du vieux mignon appreciated by fishing lovers.
Located near the very popular villages of Coulon, Damvix is only a few minutes from Arcais where you can enjoy ice creams and pancakes.
La Rochelle and Niort are accessible in half an hour as well as Maillezais and its abbey.
The Ile de Ré, the Puy du Fou, the magnificent beaches of the Vendée and even the Futuroscope are not so far (1h -1h30)
Access to the A83 motorway in less than 30min

The house is 3km from the town and its shops, (bakery, butcher, coccimarket, café/PMU, cinema, pharmacy). Lively market every Sunday morning.

La propriétaire est très arrangeante. La maison est spacieuse et très bien équipée.L’endroit est très calme.Une barque et 2 vélos sont mis à disposition.Un embarcadère pour des promenades avec guide se situe à 300 m .Je recommande !

Nous sommes restés 8 jours dans ce gîte . Calme, propre, jardin très agréable. Le plus : la barque mise à disposition, le départ se fait du jardin et permet de visiter les canaux de la Venise verte. Enfin des vélos permettent de faire de petites balades. Que du bonheur !!

Très bon séjour en famille. Logement très propre.Il faut juste bien surveiller les enfants dans le jardin car le marais poitevin est vraiment au bord de la maison mais super expérience de pouvoir emmener notre fils en barque sur le canal. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
