Palm Island Coastal Paradise with deep water dock, private pool, and gulf views. It's a short walk or even shorter golf cart ride (300 yards) to enjoy the quiet sugar sand beach. This 4 bedroom 3 bath home has it all.... an open & comfortable floor plan with high ceilings, custom finishes, and a large kitchen with granite counters. The living room opens to a large screened lanai where you can commune with nature or watch the kids play in the pool below. Upstairs the Master Suite offers views galore and multiple porches to enjoy, one on the Gulf side where you can be dazzled with spectacular beach sunset views and the other, a large screened lanai on the canal side with a wet bar and total privacy. The outdoor living and entertaining space leaves nothing to be desired with a large fenced yard set in a lush tropical setting, outdoor shower, hammock, and gas/charcoal grills. Relax by the private pool, perfect for dipping after a fun day at the beach collecting treasures or a day on the boat. The pool can be heated for an additional charge. The 30 foot dock includes a platform for kayaks/paddle boards, a fish cleaning station, and built in bench to take in the views. An underwater dock fish light attracts snook, mullet, and tarpon to watch at night. The dock has deep water direct access to the ICW located approximately 1,500 feet away.
This is truly a unique home to relax and create memories.
Have you vacationed on the island before? Palm Island a.k.a. Don Pedro Island, is a barrier island 7 miles long between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the Gulf coast with sugar-sand beaches, beautiful harbors and lagoons, great fishing and shelling only accessible by a short 10 minute car ferry or private boat. Our beaches are some of the most pristine and quiet in all of coastal Florida. There are no high rises blocking your Gulf views, unpaved sandy roads, and a relaxed "Old Florida" atmosphere. There is one restaurant called the Rum Bay that serves lunch and dinner. The car ferry runs continually from 6:30 am until 10:00 pm from Sunday through Thursday and until 11:00 pm Friday and 12:00 midnight Saturday. You drive your car onto the ferry and then directly to your vacation rental home. Kayak/paddle board rentals and golf cart rentals are available on the island. One round trip on the ferry for car and passengers costs $55. The alternative is to purchase a book of 10 round trips for $400, or $40 per round trip. Memorial Day Vacation

For Memorial day I took my family on vacation to palm island. The Seclusion house was very nice. A lot of room and it also had a lot of supplies other house I have rented have not. View from master bedroom is a wonderful view of the gulf. Would definitely rent this house again.

Owner and manager were very attentive. House was supplied with everything we needed. Which was amazing because you are on an island. Would definitely recommend for a family vacation!

The house ways amazing!! Paul was very responsive even while he was on vacation that week. He had a friend taking care of us and they handled any issue we had, which were none! She went as far as mailing a blanket my grandson had left behind. I can thank them enohgj for the great service!

Absolutely amazing spot!

We really enjoyed our stay! The home and grounds were perfect for what we needed, loved the pool and backyard area. The home was well kept and clean, spacious, and relaxing. The only feedback I would have is the welcome packet is outdated with information that no longer applies (like a closed restaurant) and the home is no longer yellow which confused us at check in. But those things didn’t impact our stay! It truly was phenomenal and we will hope to come back again!

This was our 4th stay in this beautiful home. The new owners did a fantastic job with the remodel. We used The enclosed 3rd floor room as a 5th bedroom. So well stocked, we didn’t lack for anything! My whole family absolutely loved it! Thank you Paul and Erica.

Had the most amazing week on Palm Island. The house was absolutely perfect for our group. We rented a boat for the week and kept it tied to the dock. The fish cleaning station came in handy as well as the stocked kitchen. We grilled redfish on the half shell and had trout tacos.The island is old Florida at its finest. Perfect for those that don’t like crowds. Definitely recommend renting or bringing a boat for the fishing, beaches and heading to waterfront dining just for the full experience. Superb location!Host was more than accommodating and fast to respond. House was spotless and so well stocked. This was our best VRBO or Air B and B experience yet.

Really great house. Convenient location.

We come to Palm Island every year for 1 week. This is our first time at this home. Location was very close to Cape Haze Marina where we had our boats put in. Close to Stump Pass and not too far from Boca Grande. Fishing was great and got to see a lot of manatees near the dock. I liked that we were able to rent the golf cart available by the owner. Pool area was very nice. Kitchen was large and had a large table inside and outside to eat. The house was clean as far as the beds, bathrooms, and kitchen. Floors under beds, etc. were not clean. My only recommendation would be to ensure that the home is cleaned out as far as food in the refrigerator and pantry (even condiments). Other than that, we were very happy with all the room and space we had. Looking forward to possibly renting again next year.

Outstanding stay

We've stayed in many rental properties that claim to be well stocked. Seaclusion far exceeds any other property! We only needed to bring our suitcases and food. The home is beautiful and comfortably fit our family of 8. The home and pool were very clean! Paul was quick to respond during the rental process. The property manager, Matt, was excellent! His communication was quick and friendly! We look forward to staying at Seaclusion in the future and would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in a carefree stay on the island.

Seaclusion an island escape

I knew from the start we picked the right home because Paul was very communicative, providing information about the island and the house. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our vacation, beach towels and chairs, grill and firepit, even a 75" TV to watch the Super Bowl! Our first day Matt stopped by to ensure we had no questions about the house or the island. He also checked in mid-week to see if we needed anything. The house was perfect for our group, with space to spread out and relax. We would definitely vacation at Seaclusion again.

Amazing

We had the best vacation ever thanks to Paul and Matt. Paul was super easy to communicate with. He replied instantly and had all information needed to stay on the island. The house was stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our week at the beach. The house was very clean and looked even better than photos! Renting a boat is a definite must if you like exploring the beaches and fishing. The kids had a blast at the private beach and pool. Paddle boarding and fishing off the dock was so much fun. We will definitely return to the area. Thanks again for opening up your beautiful home!!

Feel like we over paid

I would highly recommend you price compare before renting. We went with a bunch of friends and those who paid similar or a little less than us got more updated places with better amenities. Also check on construction before renting on Palm island. The island was sadly struck by two hurricanes last year. We have visited the island after hurricanes before and it was never an issue. This year we had construction going on next door that was not disclosed to us prior to arriving. Music was blaring most of the day, every day along with sawing and hammering. Large trucks and debris were also an issue. Would recommend that the owner remove most of their stuff from primary shower, vanity and fridge door to make room for renters’ belongings.

AMAZING Home!

Seaclusion was the perfect home for my family and I during our annual beach vacation. The home was very clean upon arriving and had everything we needed, plus more. We began each day at the beach and looked forward to returning to the home each afternoon to enjoy the pool. The temperature was refreshing and pool remained crystal clear for our entire 6 night stay. I mention this because in the past, we have almost always had issues with the pool at our rental. Either the water was extremely warm or the water began turning green by the end of our stay. Each member of my family mentioned it was the best pool out of all our prior rentals. The home was exactly as described in the listing and Paul Seavy was truly an amazing host. He connected with me upon arrival with instructions needed to access the home and also provided details on unique items to the home (different light switches, fishing items etc.). At one point I had a question regarding the go-cart battery charger and not only did he answer my call on the first attempt, but he walked me through the necessary steps and ensured we were all set before hanging up the phone. Incredible hospitality and I can assure you this is the best rental property and host on Palm Island. We look forward to returning to Seaclusion in the future.

Paradise

Excellent property in paradise! I didn’t want to leave a review because I wanted to keep this place a secret! From fishing off the dock to relaxing by the pool. A quiet beautiful beach. Amazing sunsets and amazing star gazing on the beach at night. Sand roads and golf carts. What more do you need? Paul was super easy to communicate with and Matt was a great host! We will definitely be back!

Outstanding Property

The property and house was perfect. The heated pool was amazing. My kids were able to kayak and canoe in the canal and fish off the dock. They named the dolphin that we saw daily Joe. They all want to go back and see Joe the dolphin. We were able to walk to a very uncrowded beach within 5 minutes. The sunsets were pristine especially with the bottle of wine and champagne that the host left for us. We will definitely revisit this property. Paul was great and so was his manager Mathew. He was very willing to help us with local attractions, restaurants, golf cart rentals, bait shops etc. Its worth buying the 10 pack of ferry tickets which runs consistently all day. It was a great vacation. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.
