This is a truly unique property! With almost 3 acres of tropical landscape and great views of the pond and the Gulf. You will be within walking distance of the breathless private beach. You will also enjoy the peace and serenity on your island vacation! The updated home has 5 beds, 4 baths, and sleeps 10 Beautifully appointed interiors with a theater/recreational room with many fun activities such as bikes, kayaks, pool table, foosball, ping pong, and even a jacuzzi right outside your door. Enjoy your time in Placida at our excellent house.

We had the most amazing week here! Checking in was a breeze and Pamela was always available and quick to answer any questions. The house and property are gorgeous and packed with so many things to do. The pool was the ultimate highlight for us, making it a wonderful change of pace from our usual beach trips. We are already planning our next visit! Thank you for hosting us.

Check in was seamless! Home was beautiful, clean and more than enough to do! We rented a golf cart to get around and, for once, we actually stayed at the home more than out doing stuff because of all the many things this home had to offer! Host was incredible, very quick with responding, informative, friendly!

The house was beautiful and well equip. Nice pond with fish and turtles . The only disappointment was the blender didnt work so no frozen drinks. Lots to do. Game room was a hit for my grandchildren aged 7 and 9. Rented golf carts to get around the island. Only thing that would make this property better would be to have an inground pool instead of above ground pool, I will definately rent this house again.

Better than the photos

We spent five days here in late Dec 2024. This was the most well appointed vrbo we have ever stayed. Blankets, pots, utensils, spices, fishing rods, kayaks, propane, everything we needed. Would stay again.

The house is perfect for a large family! There is plenty of seating for everyone, both inside and outside. Cleaning off from the beach is a breeze with all the hoses and trashcans available around the property, something we all noticed. The house was well stocked with everything you might need…the blender was not working when we arrived which was a real bummer for us, but I reached out to Pamela and a new blender was soon delivered! The kids enjoyed the games in the downstairs room, loved having 5 working bikes to use and a kayak that was used for fishing in some outer areas. We did some fish frying and the outdoor kitchen was a perfect place for that. As far as houses go, this one is at the top of our list…everything was just so nice! We will definitely be returning to this home when we return to Palm Island.

Perfect Vacation House

This house was amazing, and even way better than the beautiful photos. We had two teens that absolutely loved the privacy and fun of the game room on the first floor. The gaming room, the hot tub, the pool, the volleyball court, the basketball court…it was never ending options of fun for ALL of us.We rented a boat and took advantage of some excellent fishing - keeping the boat on the dock when we weren’t using it.The beach is a short walk, or they also provide two bicycles you can take to the beach. They also have beach chairs, umbrellas, it was like everything you could imagine. The house is stunning- the kitchen and dining areas are large for big groups and we shared several dinners together as a group. There are several great “hang out” spots, as well as enough space for anyone to get some alone time.We will definitely book this house again when we are back on beautiful Palm Island.

The house was a great place for my family and in-laws to unwind and enjoy the wonderful Palm Island beaches from. There was plenty of room for all of us and we never got uncomfortable, even with temperatures nearing 100. The property was great with countless activities to entertain during the worst of the heat/UV. The only issue we had (and should be easily resolved by the host) was that the kitchen stove large burners didn't work, but we made do by using the second range in the outdoor kitchen on the lower level.
