This is a private rustic very clean and well maintained 1 bedroom cabin. This property is on a shared 3 acre lot in a country setting located in back of main house. This cabin features an outside patio set and charcoal grill as well as a fire pit with all the wood stacked. 10 min from 690, 481, GREEN LAKES STATE PARK, FOUR SEASONS SKI AND GOLF COURSE, DESTINY USA, DOWNTOWN SYRACUSE.

We had a wonderful stay in Syracuse, New York at this cozy little cabin tucked away on the host’s property. The space was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Even though it’s small, the cabin felt welcoming and well thought out — perfect for a relaxing getaway.The location was great: close enough to town for restaurants and things to do, but still private and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the outdoor setting barbecue was a great addition and so was the fire pitwhich made it easy to unwind and feel surrounded by nature.Our host was kind, responsive, and made check-in simple. Overall, it was a unique and charming spot that gave us the privacy of a cabin stay with the convenience of being near Syracuse.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy retreat!

Very cozy cabin. Fire flys came out every night. I kinda want to come back during a winter snow storm to try the wood burning stove.

Cheryl and John were great people. Very friendly. One bad part was that the airconditioner was not quite adequate for the whole cabin. Even at max speed, it needed the ceiling fan at high speed to circulate the air. A huge safety concern was thst the stair railings into the cabin are Way too low. Maybe for a small person, ok. Dangerous.

The property was well maintained and the little cabin was easy to find. The weather was perfect so we were able to leave the windows open that night and hear peaceful night sounds and feel a cool breeze. When we arrived, Cheryl had made sure to have the cabin cool for us which I thought was a nice touch. Though that cabin was close to the primary residence, we had full privacy during our stay. Very clean and organized plus it was super cozy. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves and left feeling relaxed ….I hope we will be back soon!

The cabin was really not secluded it was in somebody’s backyard surrounded by a couple trees and then if you want around to the side you could see the neighborhood no outdoor fire and there’s really nothing out there and less you stay at Green Lakes State Park

This cabin is not listed as secluded, it is listed as private with no mention of a fire pit anywhere in my listing. You left all your dirty dishes and took the toilet paper. I guess i had to finally experience a mediocre guest compared to my exceptional ones. Lesson learned.

Musty and lacking

Definitely good for appearance, staging. Linens and kitchen were good Extremely musty smell that carried home with our cloths in our suitcase TV only had reception if home owner wasn’t home Check in at 6 PM was ridiculous Response from home owner in regards to seeking help for TV reception was inappropriate Basically said how she gets no complaints and her cabin is always booked, well that’s not what I asked about The bed was very uncomfortable We did not sleep well and ended going home early.

This review is so undeserved and completely not true. I knew from the start that this guest was going to be a problem. Check in is at 6pm. Which i usually allow people to check in a little early upon request, but this guest started texting at 11:30 am stating she was at green lakes and was ready for the cabin. I did allow her an early check in after her text. The musty smell probably came from her leaving soaked towels drapped over all the chairs and all the windows in the cabin open and are equipped with screens. She also left food all over the floor and dishes were not washed only rinsed. Had to redo all of them a thoroughly scrub everything. As for the tv reception i offered to come and take a look at it as she was asking my advise on what to do with an app she was having trouble with. I could offer no solution over texts due to not ever having anyone else complain or having to trouble shoot. They did not leave early they left at 7am on the day of checkout which was totally appropriate since they checked way before check in time. It seems to me that this guest did not read the listing thoroughly. Would not host again.

Cozy Cabin

Cute little cabin in back of the owners property. All the amenities you need are there. We had a couple of minor issues that were taken care of immediately. Great location. Would stay there again.
