Disconnect at this comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home that comfortably sleeps four. Great for remote work with fast wifi with a dedicated workspace. This cabin is ideal for a couple's retreat, family getaway, or friends who are looking for a Smoky Mountain escape. Stay with us to experience the charm and scenery of the mountains. Our 1940s farmhouse was totally renovated last year and has a bathroom with a large rainhead shower. The kitchen was remodeled with new appliances as well as a new instant water heater and new HVAC. The farmhouse has 100-year-old recycled beams and floors. Newly remodeled 2 bedrooms with queen beds. Office with a fold-out couch. Eat-in kitchen with all new appliances. Double oven range, vintage refrigerator, dishwasher. Patio dining with outdoor grill and griddle. The gathering space features a chiminea with a pizza oven. Across the street is a two-acre play and picnic area bordered by a small creek. We also have another VRBO across the street, Coon Creek Too. VRBO#3312950. Although quiet and somewhat secluded, it is only a ten-minute drive to downtown Franklin on paved roads with easy year-round access. Minutes more to Sylva, Harrah's Cherokee Casino, and Western Carolina University. Pets are welcome when our $100 per visit Pet Fee is added when you specify a pet Midway between Franklin and Sylva on paved easy year-round access minutes off the highway yet country quiet. 5-10 minutes to shopping and restaurants. The entire house and the creekside two acres across the street are at your disposal. Trout fishing in any of the 30 lakes or 300 rivers and creeks in the county. Hike our county greenways, state parks, or national parks. Drive the busiest national park in America, the Blue Ridge Parkway. Raft on any of our world-class rafting and kayak venues. Gem mine some of the country's oldest Gold, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald deposits. Smoky Mountain National Park, and Harrahs Cherokee Casino are all just minutes away. College sports in season at Western North Carolina University. Visit a culture, a place and a sovereign nation, The Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation.
