Barndominum, minutes to lake and trails sleeps 14+ Weddings, Events, Retreats

Carson Creek Estate is set on 20 rural acres in the heart of Lake Samish. Mother Nature provides a stunning backdrop with a view of lookout mountain. We offer 7,000 sq ft barn, meadows, creeks, trails and forest; which create a flexible outdoor event venue space for ceremonies, receptions, retirement, anniversary, graduation and company parties. We offer one of the most unique forested venues in the Pacific Northwest.

The barn lodging features 5 suites with 5 bathrooms and a large kitchen.

The main floor suite is also the bridal suite. This suite has a queen murphy bed with its own private bathroom. There are upto 5 queen air mattress available for additional guests. We only pull out air mattress when booking for more than 14 guests to put in the ballroom. Air mattress are not available for less than 14 guests.

All rooms have a mini fridge.

The kitchen, two additional bathrooms, and the 3,000 sq ft event space/ballroom are on the main level. We set-up a kitchen table and seating area in the event space for lodging guests.

The second floor living room features a wrap around leather couch, bar, pool table, and foosball.

The barn is surrounded by forest.

We do book events through our website.

We had a large group of families with young kids. Everyone had a blast! So much open space for the kiddos to play games, close to the lake (short drive) and better than advertised. Highly recommend!

Bellingham Bike Trip

Fabulous wedding venue and family sleepover space!

Our daughter and son-in-law got married here And it was a wonderful place for our two families to sleep and playcard games. Wonderful sleeping areas with all the amenities and incredible venue. Great spot to gather as a family

We rented the Barndominum for Thanksgiving as a way to gather our large extended family under one roof. It was a blast and comfortably fit each of our family units. The open ground floor and expansive commercial grade kitchen was exactly what we needed to store, cook and entertain over the two day stay. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating with extremely prompt communication - ready to assist any time we reached out with questions. We will be back for another family event in the future! Fantastic property all around.

New Year celebration

I asked my 8 grandchildren for their thoughts and they loved it. A fairly short drive for most of us and easy access to hikes and Bellingham. Blow up mattresses could do with some updating. We will probably come back at some time.

Great venue for groups

We had a great time at the barn. There was plenty of space for a large group to hang out, sleep, and to prepare rooms.We were under the impression there would be a hot tub on site, but it's only open during the summer months with the pool, and we never saw where the pool was located. It must be a bit offsite. The kitchen was well stocked, but if you are picky about the pots and pans you cook with, I would suggest bringing your own.Our group had a ton of fun in the large barn area and in the upstairs pool table room.

Family Reunion Fun

We were thrilled to have our family reunion at this venue. It was wonderful to have everyone in one place enjoying time together for a few days in a row. This bardominium has everything from a large event style main room (big enough for pickleball play), large commercial kitchen, lots of sleeping quarters, plenty of bathrooms, pool table, foosball, large outdoor grassy area for outside game play just to name a few. It's the perfect place to host a reunion. Great location and Samish Lake minutes away where we went to rent pedal boats. The owners are extremely accommodating and attended to all our needs/wants. We will definitely be booking this place for our next family reunion!!

Wonderful place for groups

This is a spacious and quiet haven for groups to gather and stay. We had 12 adults who all slept comfortably and really enjoyed the space. The kitchen and tables were perfect for large family meals all together, and there is plenty of space to store outdoor gear. I would certainly recommend this place.

Modern and spacious

This property was very well maintained and spacious! We had more room than to know what to do with. It's great! The living quarters are very modern, clean and comfortable. It was easy to get to and its only 15 minutes away from town. It was truly a wonderful experience staying here and my family may just make this a yearly trip! The only issues we had were getting heat turned on. We never were able to figure it out but we all got warmed up eventually!

Spacious

Family reception in late May was fantastic! The “barn” easily accommodated our 50 guests for dinner that we catered ourselves. The commercial kitchen was outstanding. Eight guests spent 3 nights in the comfortable bedrooms and made good use of the game room and grounds. Seth and Celia are fantastic hosts with excellent communication before and during our stay. We could not have wished for a better venue. The pictures accurately depict what to expect for this location including the cleanliness of all rooms. Highly recommended for large groups.
